I do not recommend this lawyer. She belittles you, is condescending, and not very clear on communication and explaining anything to you. She doesn't answer emails(I think cause she doesn't want to have anything in writing that can be used against herself) and she will sometimes never even return calls or takes forever to get back to you. She shouted out in court for me to accept an offer without taking me into private chambers to explain to me what I was agreeing to. When I tried to ask after the fact by email to explain what I thought I was agreeing to, of course she would not reply by email and only belittled me and got angry for me not understanding. She threatened to quit my case more than once and often had me questioning who's side she was actually on.

Maureen Murdoch is a very unprofessional lawyer. She takes advantage of people without knowing any circumstances or ignores knowledge of the truth. Does not practice what she preaches!!A legal Liar!!

I highly recommend Maureen and her assistant Ashley. Maureen was able to help me through a very difficult divorce. She was very honest and upfront and helped me understand the process. Maureen was very diligent and was able to keep the process moving forward quickly, while dealing with a difficult situation. Ashley kept me informed on exactly what was happening and was always available to take my calls and answer the many questions that I had. I was extremely happy with the representation I received from Maureen, and extremely satisfied with the service both Maureen and Ashley provided.

Custody and financials settled before court. Was prepared for court with strong case ( but you never know the judges response) be truthful..responds to you quickly. Keeps on other lawyer for info and unethical proceedures. Fantastic at pretrial questioning affidavit..the cost was higher because of other lawyer not responding and 3 new lawyers for ex. Like someone posted she has a great BS sniffer.. ex has stated she was terrified of Ms Murdock.her assist Ashley is very knowledgeable and punctual..all documents filed when needed no procrastinating..I highly recommend Maureen Murdock.

If you plan to use this lawyer, beware!! She’s extremely insensitive and abusive. Not to mention she isn’t too concerned with client confidentiality. I was contacted a number of times by complete strangers that had received emails containing personal information about my case. It seems she doesn’t know how to use email properly so random email strains somehow get attached to what she is sending to anyone. No information is safe!! She’s also not above using cheap tactics and bullying the opposition. If that’s how you want to handle things and aren’t concerned about lawyer client confidentiality then by all means use this lawyer.

I am so thankful she entered my life when she did. Through the rocky ocean of divorce and the long drawn out custody battle that ensued (and continues to do so) shes been an absolute rock. She does have a very finely tuned bs sniffer so don't try and pull the wool over her eyes. Be upfront and honest with her and she will return it in kind. If you want a great white shark in your corner, this lawyer is the one for you.

I spent many years getting to know Maureen due to "the dark side" dragging the process out at every opportunity. Maureen is very quick on her feet and will catch a lie before anyone knows what happened. She has fantastic attention to detail. Of benefit is her long tenured assistant who does exceptional work as well. Maureen kept me focused and helped separate the fly crap from the pepper. She is an intelligent person and I am grateful she entered my life. She told me what to expect (financially) and it was what happened in the end. She has been a source of balance for me in the rough ocean of divorce. Hell yes! I recommend her. Be up front and be honest with her. Don't pull any bs because I guarantee she will sniff it out. It goes both ways after all...

If you are thinking Olof retaining this attorney BEWARE! She is brutally verbally absive and a bully. She had my file for two years and I dreaded seeing her because of her horrible abuse. Being honest and upfront is one thing. Being as unprofessional as she is is another. She will belittle you to no end. She has no regard whatsoever of your situation or what you have gone through. She is the absolute most insensitive woman you'll ever meet. She's relentless, un thoughtful and you'll be asking yourself, what side she's working for. She threatened to quit twice on my file. Waiting two years of my time and money. If, you dare tell her something you may not agree with "she's quitting"!! She calls you down if, you God forbid forget something back 5-6 years ago. She'll cost you money, that wasn't ever necessary by asking you to go out and obtained documents that never get used. Her price are way out to lunch for the services you get. Maureen is a straight shooter. Fair. Keeps things rolling along. Great communication practices with opposing council and with client. I recommend Maureen!
