I find this law firm to be excellent. When dealing with mental health cases you sometimes get adverse reaction. He help and understanding was in valuableable and he ability to deal with family members with mental health problems was great and she did not take the verbal abuse their mental condition caused personally. The other reviews on this page look like they were written by someone with a problem that was nit created by the attorney.

Crazy expensive and offers zero value in return. Other reviewers are correct - you are better off representing yourself. From day one, we have had to chase Donna begging and pleading to get any information or forward motion in our case. She is very slow and unresponsive. States that everything is complex only to realize - it isn't complex on the whole - only to her! In the end, the most we can hope for is the minimum the law will allow as she has lost documentation, confused issues and misstated protocol - all seemingly to the end of causing confusion and making things appear difficult to justify her outrageous fees. She took three months (literally) to file one single piece of paper. About three more sheets are required to advance the case and we've been waiting three months for her to do it. Dozens of emails and phone calls have gone unanswered. Wish beyond wish we'd taken a different course than hiring Donna Levine. Now we are left holding our breath this will end well despite her.

Stay clear of Ms. Donna Levine. Her skills of practicing law and procedures are an atrocity. She is a major screw up.She states she has knowledge of the mental health law - far from it, she is incompetent on all levels. My family member is the brunt of her incompetence, he is in jail over 4 months now pretrial, because she overlooked a bail issue, even screwed up on informing the judge of a psychologist that was to present findings at a court hearing, last minute hearing cancelations. Her representation in the court is extremely poor. The State Attorney made a fool out of her weakness of the law.It is disgusting to think she is the reason my ill family member is still in jail waiting pretrial. Now, even after informing her to withdraw from council, it is 6 weeks into it and she has not followed through on a motion to withdraw. Words can't describe what a terrible mistake I made in hiring her.She needs to stop practicing as she is jeopardizing the life's and well be of others.

Donna Levine is UTTERLY useless. She is RUDE, screens your calls so not to speak with you after you have paid her your money. She wmakes promises she cant deliver has no knowledge of the law pertaining to your case or at least pretends she has no clue when you ask her question's about your case. Puts forth NO EFFORT to communicate with you and is always in a hurry. When ever I call she's either on her way out or just step in for a second and can't talk. You are better off representing yourself! She has been a complete train wreck handeling my case!! I made the biggest mistake ever hiring her.

Donna Levine is absolutely useless. She has NO people skills and is only capable of one thing......taking your money. She will not put forth ANY effort on your case and then have the nerve to ask for more money. She can't be bothered to communicate ANYTHING to you to help you understand the law as it pertains to your case. If you e-mail her with questions, she won't respond. You'd be better off representing yourself or having a veterinarian do it!
