He was my attorney in 2017. He overcharged a lot for undone work. He came in court without preparation. When I started insisting him to be ready for court hearing, he resigned from my case. If you are worried about your case and money, please, stay away from this company.

Very bed company. They overcharge you for nothing. Keep your payments to prove you paid to them.Stay away from them. They are moneymaker. They show up for court hearing without preparation. Although you have 100% won case, they will lose your case with purpose to drag it and suck out your money. What you read negative about this company, this is absolutely truth.

Grossly under estimates the costs only to charge you exorbitantly more. You have to do your hw on all steps as any questions you ask you get charged. Another lawyer who works with him Barbara Weiser is the worst possible. She charges less that Douglas Stoodt but her billing is nothing short of blatant abuse. Finds ways and means to expunge your deposit and stretch the case. While Douglas Stoodt is still okay to deal with Barbara Weiser does not come to hearing prepared, 4 way meetings prepared, attends to personal calls during client meeting only to charge you for it etc. does minimalistic work and over charges you. Stay clear of her is my advice to you!! The bad rating to his firm is partly due to the other lawyer barbara. If you are in a divorce and want to save money go to an experienced law firm that won't BS you and will give you a clear idea of what you can expect to keep and lose as part of divorce. Law firms like these are out to get you so stay away from them!!!
