The BEST decision I ever made was to contact the The Law Firm of John P. Mahoney. I had navigated through the EEOC process without legal representation up until the Formal complaint process. Days before my hearing with the Administrative Judge,I realized that I was in way over my head and may need legal representation. I spoke at length with Attorney John Mahoney. After hearing the facts of my EEOC case,he explained the legal process in excellent detail,and provided realistic expectations for the outcome going forward. Attorney Michael Mierau was assigned to my case. He successfully postponed the formal hearing date and opened settlement negotiations with my Agency. Agency leadership were arrogant and dug their heels in with complete disregard for any settlement negotiations. He took them on,armed with his expert knowledge of the law and superb negotiation skills. Mr. Mierau successfully negotiated from the Agency’s initial offer and quadrupled it. Best money I have ever spent!
