Father rights advocate is a lie. They have meetings to grow revenue saying they are a father rights advocate. I know people that used them and know people that have been against them. They will do anything for a price. they keep court cases going for years. Ive known of a 6 plus year divorce because they had a cash cow paying them. As for being a fathers writes advocate. No way!!!! They have tried everything to stop fathers have rights. They will try anything, anything they can.And their associates Jennifer Moran, moron whatever she calls herself. Stay away.

Just learning this now. The father rights advocates that they say they are is a complete lie. They say this so you go to their meetings and they can get more money and fees from you. She is not even liked by the court as you has been chastised numerous times for screaming and cursing at the judge,. I guess she doesnt care about what is right for their clients but cares about the money that is brought in. Why are people like this allowed to practice any type of law.

Excellent representation by Sari Friedman in her offices and in court. All staff were curious well informed on my case and on the related law. I would highly recommend this law firm if you are not looking for a legal run around from the adversary or the courts. The law firm kept up the pace of progress, allowed for little stalling, and billed fairly from start to finish. Excellent results and I have recommended the firm to others in the last few months and all clients are very satisfied with the office professionalism .

As of this rating my case is not settled, no where near so most likely. This is not a review of whether the firm "won" or "lost" which is the best time for a review. Many have said she is money hungry, well yes and no. They are a business, and like all businesses they need to make money, law firms have exceptional overhead. I have never seen Sari (or anyone else at the firm) be more money hungry than other law firms. I signed with Sari and then moved to Andrea. I switched, the firm did not switch me. I can not imagine having anyone better suited to me and my case than Andrea. The firm is responsive to EVERY request. The quality and tenacity of every filing and appearance is unquestionable. My favorite part though, is watching my (soon to be ex) wife squirm and have panic attacks with everything my attorney files. priceless! Thank you!

Sari's work was very disapointing. She was high priced and didn't even show up for an important meeting. I had to do alot of the work. She made some strange comments showing that she really wasn't on my side. She let the opponents lawyer yell at me without saying a word.

I have just completed a 3 year tortuous divorce with Sari Friedman as my attorney. I highly recommend her and her excellent staff! Right away, Sari explained custody pitfalls to me, and was honest and forthright throughout. My divorce was exceptionally bitter as I was attacked relentlessly by a sociopath wife who refused all settlement. Going all the way to trial and being fortunate enough to have Sari and her daughter Andrea working for me, I found them to be brilliant and relentless in supporting my best interests. At every level they try to negotiate a solution with the opposition, but when they are stonewalled they will not hesitate to fight tooth and nail for you! Many of the complaints you read on this and many other sites are really about THE SYSTEM, not Sari and her firm. An attorney can only do so much for you within a system that is extremely far from perfect. I would give my highest recommendation to Sari and her staff. Professional, dedicated, and extremely hard working!

After searching numerous attorneys and being told that as a father I would have to settle for occasional visits with my children, I found that I didn't have to settle but instead I gained custody due to the efforts and experience of Sari Friedman and her associates. From the beginning she made me feel that I had a chance and she proved it to be the case. Her staff was always courteous toward me whenever I would call or go to her office during this stressful time. I would highly recommend her to anyone in a similar situation.

One other poster said about the Friedman Firm that it was God-sent. We'll if God sent me to this firm then I clearly did something terrible and it was meant as a punishment. I'm too agnry to explain all that she did wrong and possibly even unethical in my case. She first cares about extracting your money and she is tantamount to a money pit. It is a crying shame because if she were't such a liar, money hungry and possibly an unethical rhymes with witch, whe could be a great lawyer runing a great firm. teh rest of the firm is fine but know they take their order from Sari. There's an old Islamic saying that "the fish first stinks from the head."

Regretfully, I too had similar experiences with the other users that didn't rate Ms. Friedman well. It seemed to me that her primary goal is to settle your matter in t he quickest way possible--even if it is completely against the client's interest--so that she may keep as a bonus the unused portion of the retainer. If you have unlimited resources, are a member of the 1% and don't care about $10,000 evergreen retainers, Ms. Friedman may be the attorney for you as she will find a prompt way to relieve you of your money. But if you are a member of the next percentile then look elsewhere because her ability is overshadowed by her greed.

I had retained Sari back in 2003 regarding my daughter. Not only was I completely ripped off, but I ended up (when I could no longer afford her) representing myself and got more without her then when I did have her; less the $5k fees. When I had emailed their firm requesting the balance of my retainer back (since I still have over $1500 left), I was told they would not return it. When I recently called for legal advice, I was asked for ANOTHER $5000 for a retainer, despite still having over a $1500 balance in my favor. Stay away from these people. They don't care about you, your kids, or your family. They will suck you dry and when you're out of money, their way of "working with you" is to drop you as a client. SCAM ARTISTS. They are criminal and should be in jail.

Yes, Sari is very pleasant to deal with, until you sign her retainer! Then she passes the case to an inexperienced associate who will cut you a lousy deal and convince you it is the best you can get. She has lied to me. She hurt my kids by not fighting for their rights and sucking money from me that I needed to care for them! She pads her bill. I needed to check it every month and found frequent errors. Her nasty receptionist calls you to demand payment only 3 days after the bill is sent. Then when I was out of money, she motioned the court to be relieved. The court usually does not do that, but she puts up some BS claim that you have to get a lawyer to fight anyway. I could not fight it and had to borrow another $5000 to hire another lawyer. Even after this she would not turn over my own documents, saying that I owed money when I had paid her everything. This women is evil. She should not be a lawyer. Someone needs to stop her from hurting her own clients.

Her tenacity can actually work against you with many judges. She charges about double what highly competent attorneys on Long Island charge and milks the case. Her firm representation from my personal experience presents an image that they specialize in representing fathers. I believe she does this because they are usually the ones in the divorce with the $$$. I found they attempt to settle for crumbs and convince you that is the best you are going to get. I found I was getting NO additional value for huge additional costs and constantly found myself feeling I was getting an unfair short end of the stick repeatedly. I switch law firms and my new attorney was able to in 2 short months get the upper hand and obtain a much better settlement whereby the the kids are with me most of the time and i make all decisions in their regard.

Bad lawyer! She will take every penny you have and give the rest to your spouse. Then she will ask to be relieved by the court because you can't pay her. Don't be fooled by 'Father's rights'. I lost my two boys as well as my money.

Stay away from her she is a money hungry and does not follow through on your case. She does nothing for you unless you pay her first $5,000.00 to issue a paper.. STAY AWAY FROM HER
