Mark Carey has extorted well over $100,000 from me over the course of this past year. He has churned my account and billed me for many hours of edits to a document after I had returned it to him signed and notarized. Mark Carey is unethical and unprofessional. He is only interested in maximizing the amount of money he can from you and then will abandon you.

Charged excessive and unreasonable fees 2 days after retainer signed and sent invoice 3 days after retainer signed, then threatened to sue if fees not paid. Vert low integrity.

Same type of experperiecne. He overbilled and took me to arbitration. But the arbitrator found he overbilled and assessed fees to him. Stay far away from this attorney. He only cares about himself.

I was unhappy with his initial effort and fired him after just a few days. When I challenged him on the bill vs the work done, and refused to pay what I felt was an unreasonable fee, given what was done, he sued me and out a lien on my house. It took me nearly two years to pay him for such little work on a wrongful termination case. Definitely not recommended.
