I went to this atty, Joseph Tauber, in 1975 as an abused wife seeking help for a divorce. He took Poloroid pictures of my bruises (my ex husband picked me up and threw me into a wall) and a $500.00 retainer. About a week or so later, after the bruises had started to fade, he told me he "couldn't help me" and kept the retainer and the photos. He clearly took advantage of me as a 24 yr old female who desperately needed legal representation in a divorce proceeding. I could never recommend him based on his lack of ethics and I often wonder why he did not return the photos to me which I needed as proof of the physical abuse. My ex husband's abuse escalated and I was nearly killed as a result. How can this attorney continue to practice?! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ATTORNEY!
