So many people have rated Christine highly and given such positive feedback. From my own experience I can only add my praise for her intelligence, kindness and professionalism in dealing with my divorce case. After a few bad experiences with other lawyers, Christine was able to calmly and brilliantly sort through it all and move my case forward. You can trust her legal expertise and advice. She was always aiming to reach an agreeable settlement, but if not, she was absolutely prepared and ready to go to court. She allotted her time appropriately to do a thorough and competent job and was not swamped or harried as many lawyers seem to be. To the cynic who gave Christine a rating of 1 because they don't think that so many 5's are legitimate, it is unfortunate that you have not had the good fortune to have her as your lawyer or you would know what the rest of us are talking about.

She is a 5 star lawyer, I wish I could have given her more stars. I recently rehired Christine to deal with a child support issue wherein my ex had not been paying the appropriate amount even though they had the resources to pay and simply weren't. Christine was unbelievable in terms of her service and expected outcomes. I cannot recommend her highly enough - its little wonder that she has her own firm. She is without a doubt one of the top solicitors in her field in Canada.

Christine is Amazing! If you are lucky enough to not have the other side already select her as a lawyer then you would be in great position to retain Christine! Christine brings professionalism, fierce determination, knowledge, understanding and caring to her highly competent practice. A previous lawyer ruined most of my family law case and Christine was pivotal in turning it around as best as possible. I do not feel that you could get a higher level of value from another family lawyer in Victoria. Christine is incredibly versatile in her thinking, has a very open communication technique and will work extremely hard to represent her clients to the best of her ability. I can’t say enough about Christine. Here is a woman who is clearly ideally suited to her career. How often can you say that about anyone? She’s strategic; yet brilliant with detail. She’s competitive, experienced, dedicated, efficient (read: bills fairly), and responsive when you need a quick answer. Christine did not handle my initial divorce, but I sure wish she did. I needed her to fix several problems from my 1st agreement. Very knowledgeable, detailed, and current. To be honest, my opinion of lawyers until now has been less that stellar so this rating is a reversal of that feeling. I engaged Christine to handle what I considered a complicated divorce and property division. I live half way across Canada and the action was filed in Victoria. The logistics alone I found daunting. I have only met Christine once (for the initial interview) during the two years it took to complete this matter. It was only by her diligence that this was concluded successfully. Not once did I have to contact her or her staff to find out where we were in the process. Very high levels of communication. Also, I feel I was charged fairly and that there was a concerted effort made not to waste time and money. I would highly recommend Christine and her firm to anyone in need of expert and empathetic representation. As an added bonus they're all very nice people too.

I've had the pleasure of going against Christine Murray for the last 3 years in family court. She has done nothing but pad her own pocket book forcing father into financial hardship. She has taken family court in the wrong direction. She is not for equal parenting. Her whole firm is biased and against all fathers/men. She should step away from family court and stick to what she does best, go chase ambulance's

I retained Christine to resolve a child support situation with my former spouse. Previous counsel advised against pursuing a legal change to the existing separation agreement however the children were living with me exclusively (on the advice of Family Services BC) whilst my ex enlisted FMEP to extract child support. What appears to the layperson as a cut-and-dried case was, in actuality, a legal minefield brought forward by an intransigent and illogical opponent who initiated concurrent nuisance actions in parallel venues. Throughout, Christine maintained an unrelenting path using her unparalleled knowledge, infinite patience, acute attention and calming demeanor leading the judge to an inescapable conclusion. Her method was pure artistry. Divorce and its battles occupy an unenviable position at the intersection of emotion, self-interest, economics and the law. I cannot think of a better professional to have at your back than Christine. She has upped the ante in Victoria family law.

I can't say enough about Christine and the service she provided me during my separation and divorce. Having her in my corner was a source of constant strength and support through what was a very troubling time. She was recommended to me as being prompt and very successful at advocating for her clients. I was not disappointed in the slightest. She exceeded my expectations and then some. I liked Christine the moment I met her. I am an extremely busy professional and my divorce was something that had to be fit in where there was already no room (emotionally or time-wise). Christine struck me as both friendly and capable and in our first meeting she listened to everything I had to say then netted out what my plan needed to be. She was empathetic to the emotional side of all the decisions that had to be made along the way and brought me back on plan anytime I got frustrated. After a nine year struggle to settle child support issues, Christine took on the case, arranging to meet with me at times convenient to my work schedule to finalize the situation.
