J'ai eu deux séances de CRA avec Me Schirm. J'ai apprécié son écoute et le fait qu'elle soit intolérance vis-à-vis des propos péjoratifs ou autres comportements visant le rabaissement des parties. Elle a une très grande connaissance du droit. Elle a des idées qui sortent de la boite et elle fait des efforts remarquables pour aider les parties à trouver un consensus. Par contre, sachez que ce que vous dites en médiation n'est pas confidentiel. Des documents peuvent être déposé dans le cadre de procédures à la Cour Supérieur (chambre de la famille). Pour ma part, c'est le seul élément que je regrette vraiment. Je recommande les services de Me Schrim, mais faites attention vu l'état du droit actuel cela pourrait vous être préjudiable spécialement dans les cas de ruptures difficiles.

Avoid as any cost. She makes legal errors and when she find out she quits you for no good reasons to avoid being charged. If you want to spend time and money and get abandoned choose her.

Sylvie cares only about winning, not about the people involved in the litigation. Her website gives you the impression that she cares about children but her aggressive behavior in court has permanently damaged my children. Avoid this lawyer at all costs.

Me Schirm m'a représenté dans mon divorce. Elle est vraiment une des meilleures. Nous avons gagné toutes nos demandes. Vraiment excellente avocate

If you give any document to this lawyer never expect to get them back. I have 4 months and she still has not given me back the original documents I gave her when she was representing me. I will complain to the Quebec bar to oblige her to give me back the original documents. Getting her as a lawyer is doubling your problems. You end up to fight your adversary and her also!!!!

I have had a working relationship with Me Schirm now for 10 years since the beginning of divorce proceedings to the cessation of support payments to my ex. In all instances, Me Schirm has provided sound advice. She has the ability to stay emotionally detached to provide sound advice whilst being empathetic to the emotional side of the situation at hand. She has always included me in all facets, from strategy to final implementation. I strongly recommend her if you are in need of a family attorney.

She listened to my story, told me to wait for my ex to make a move, when he did she was on vacation. She told me she was going to be too busy when she would return. i had to find another atorney. Stay away.

If you want to waste your time, go to see her. She made wait 7 months and finally to tell me that she will decide after reading my case (and charging for that of course) if she was going to take the case or not.

This lawyer did very little work on my behalf, literally refused to counter a proposal and did not want to contest anything. A waste of time and money.
