Her value, as a family lawyer, is atrocious. She does not offer a fixed rate, and does a horrible, horrible job explaining to you, the client whom she is representing, any details regarding any of the processes involved in whatever she has been retained to do. She preys on the fact that you as a client are ignorant of any matters of the law and as such is hopeful that she can wring, like a cloth dry, your resources. Her work ethic, is sloppy, and under-developed. She is a partner at a law-firm, anyone with whom in good conscience, not of a good, or sound moral compass, would make someone like this individual a partner representing their law firm. Her tenacity is as voracious as her love for money, without extending the effort to obtain it. Her communication blows like the wind in any direction she sees fit, not in the direction that the client wishes to go in. Last but not least, her knowledge. Every lawyers skill is dependant on this. She has none. She is more suited for a counsellor.

She represented us in what we thought was a simple case which extended into years and thousands in legal costs. True are the words below, she does not return calls or emails in a timely manner, lack of action and failure to submit court documentation at all! Not knowing the law and being duped into believing it was more complex than it really was, it was a long stressful journey. When the lights finally clicked and we lost complete trust in her ability, we seeked consult from new council who resolved our matter in less that 5 weeks with a settlement. We learned from our new representation that Court documents were never submitted, case opening was done in the wrong district and numerous steps were taken which led us astray only to incur additional legal cost and time. Just to note I find it peculiar that her first review for 2017 cites all kinds of great attributes which unfortunately were all completely the opposite in our situation. Don't learn the hard way, steer clear!

So far I'm very impressed. She has stepped in to advise other lawyers with her experience. She also works pro bono. She really takes the time to understand fully what is going on with everything before making recommendations. She really seems to be working in the best interests of the children. Very supportive and honest. She is going well beyond expectations and out of her way to be helpful.

While a nice person, this lawyer was terrible and should not be in practice. She was negligent and went months before responding to counsel. She made a bad situation worse with her timeframes and lack of action. I had to ask her several times for things to be done and had to constantly keep on top of her - something you should not have to do especially when paying her almost $300 per hour. She never returned phone calls or emails until you started getting nasty with her. I would recommend that you avoid this woman at all costs.
