I can't say enough good about Brian Holohan. He came highly recommended by several other attorneys, and he saved my neck in a nasty dispute. I've sent three other friends to him, when it's a bad divorce he's the first one I suggest. He's tenacious, incredibly bright, and does his job very well. He's very direct, and dry, so don't expect a candy-coating. He's seen it all and will tell you exactly as it is. When you have the misfortune of an ugly divorce, he's the guy you want on your side of the table.

Do not use this Attorney. I wrote one of the good reviews because he was good for me in my divorce case. My son hired him for his and I have paid 6500 so far. Brian has done nothing for my son and they say they file paperwork and courts don't have it. He and his staff never return his calls or help in anyway. I feel he should be dis-barred from practicing.

I have had Brian on my side for about 12 years. He was originally recommended by a woman that lost to him. He was able to help me maintain full custody of my two children and move them out of state. Brian has always done his best! I had let one attorney go before I found Brian. He returns calls in a timely matter, plus the office girls are super friendly and knowledgable. My children and I feel truly blessed that we have Brian in our corner. I don't know where we would be without him.

I am sure he knows what he is doing, but, he sure isn't revealing it. I was in need of a lawyer, so i thought, but really i could have handled this all on my own. He doesn't return phone calls, and he didn't file the proper papers for mediation, therefore I am having to start all over again, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MAN, he knows nothing about my case, because the one time i have finally got to see him, which was only for literally, 5 minutes, he asked me whats going on with my case, to this day he hasn't made much effort, he shows up to court only to reschedule then i'm stuck with the bill just for him to walk in court and out. I am thinking about reporting him to the state board, i really can't understand how he is still in business.

I do know Mr Holohan for about 5 years. As per recommendations of another lawyer I ended up in his office for my not easy divorce. Since my ex-husband now was living in Mexico, things were more difficult for me specially taking decisions about the properties, child support, etc... Thanks to his advice and his knowledge I got divorced in very good terms with the father of my children. A year after my divorce was final, my teenager youngest girl got involved in an unfortunately DUI. Again I seek Brian for help with her process and ended up in very good Court terms for my her (should I say Us, me and her). My daughter and I consider him our family lawyer, just love to see her smile when I let her know her lawyer called asking how is his "youngest client" doing. Thank you Mr Holohan, It feels good knowing you are there available when needed and specially knowing that our problems are in your hands to be resolved.

I just settled my case using Mr. Holohan. I had many issues in my divorce action. When I first retained him he told me what the laws were and what we could do. He never lied to me. My husband would not leave the home so he would mentally abuse me on a daily basis and video me making me feel uncomfortable in my home. Brian was able to get me exclusive use of the home and have him court ordered to leave. I bought my home originally as a single woman and when I refinanced eight years later I added his name to my home. My husband was trying to get 1/2 my house. Brian was able to get me my home. He also was never late and never missed one court date even sending a collegue when he was unable to appear. On the other hand my husband went through 2 attorneys that were late and not prepared. When I met with Brian , each time he would tell me to stop worrying because that is what I am paying him to do. We settled and I got everything and more. He is the BEST!

Brian represented me in a divorce and then a domestic violence case against a crazy boyfriend. We won both cases hands down. The price I was quoted paid for everything. I referred several friends to Brian all with the same satisfaction. I would recommend Brian to anyone.

I was very disappointed in the representation of Brian Holohan. I agree with the other reviewers;he does not return phone calls and neither does his paralegal. In my case, what should have been a 6 month case, turned into a 12 month case. Retainer was used up and he demanded more money to finish the case. Never once did I receive a billing statement, I have no idea what I was specifically charged for. Not sure where you find a good lawyer these days; but I would love to know!

I used Holohan for a child custody case, there were many issues/motions that needed to addressed by him, however, few, if any, were. Holohan did a lot of back door negotiations with the other side's lawyer without my permission, which resulted in me paying high support costs and attorney fees (to the ex). Holohan's attorney/client communication does not exist. He does not return phone calls nor did he keep me informed on the progess of the case. When in court he did little to fight for my rights and the only time I heard from him was when he wanted to get paid! I was constantly hit with Discovery Motions yet he requested little to none from the other side. He basically laid down on the job. I would plead with anyone out there not to use Holohan. He will not communicate with you nor will he fight for you. I'm now paying a new lawyer to clean up Holohan's mess. I'm sorry I kept himm as long as I did. There should be laws to prevent lawyers like him to practice law!

Brian Holohan will return ALL calls,very eager for your busn AND once you pay him a retainer of $5,000-$500hr (in my case)it was tooth & nail to get him to return a phone call,let alone get any type of financial statement from him....AFTER 4 mths of no communciation,I retained another attorney and finding out he NEVER requested the records & paperwork to start case!!!(from a prior attorney)He WILL TAKE your money and do absoulutley nothing.PLEASE do not use this man-he is nothing short of criminal,truly.
