Julie Cillo didn’t care about me, my case or my children. After a year, 50K in lawyers fees, not even a separation agreement, I was asked to replenish my retainer in the sum of 15K. When I wasn’t able to come up with the money, she dumped me. I had to declare bankruptcy because of her egregiously poor lawyering.

Julie was by far the best attorney for our family. She is honest, and extremely knowledgable. We felt informed every step of the way. I would recommend her services. Hands down, the best family law attorney in the area.

She worked very diligently to represent me. It is clear from earlier posts that some people didn't have realistic expectations of the process.

Julie is great at billing but fails terribly at follow through and details. I remain convinced that she leveraged her personal relationship (which she would never admit) with opposing counsel as a means of increasing billings. It seemed like a game. She never could recant the unique details of my case and seemed more interested in maintaining a relationship with her peers and the judge than working for my best interest. I would not recommend her to anyone.

We attended an initial mediation session with this lady. She arrived late, didn't even bother to read the client sheets we had filled out and went on to give incorrect legal advice. For $400 per hour we expected much more than she provided.

If you want an attorney that has her own agenda with no regard for her client's needs or wants, Julie Cillo is the attorney for you. After billing over $15,000 in charges, I was informed she would need another $6,000, and that probably would not be enough to get me to court. When I couldn't come up with the money she dumped me. So, for over $15,000 I have no divorce, no where to live, and very little income to live on.
