Ms. Eaton unfortunately represented me during my divorce. During mediation she sat there like a lump on a log, did not pull out any papers pertaining to the topics. Specifically, I wanted off of a loan I had co-signed with my ex. When the mediator asked how long the loan was for she just sat there and did not even pull out the paper work.I did not know either at that time as the loan was not in repayment status yet. My ex did not want to remove me, and she did not fight to get me off. I know I should have stuck to my guns and didn't, but I feel a divorce attorney's main goal would be to severe ALL ties between the two parties. The loan ended up being for 12 yrs. and I receive last notices and phone calls constantly. I wish I had never used her! Do what YOU think is right.

I had many questions regarding divorce, alternative dispute solutions, and parenting plans. Ms. Eaton was happy to answer my preliminary questions. I felt she was very knowledgeable and was able to relate her legal knowledge to my circumstances. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I think this is a fair assessment.

Divorce in 2008 handled by succession of inexperienced and frankly bad attorneys. Ms Eaton representation during mediation was poor and she could not be contacted following divorce decree - I had to call the judge. She could not review documents (or simply didn't), could not prepare Quit Claim deeds or assist with QDRO. Very, very poor representation for the money.
