First consultation with Robin Roshkind, she charged me the full one hour fee that only lasted for no more than half an hour. She told me everything I needed to hear. Days later after I scrapped up $5000.00 retainer fee... The receptionist had me "dropped off" the check. I did not met up with Robin Roshkind at that point. Nothing was done. No paperwork, nothing. Later I came to find out that Robin was on a 2 weeks vacation and passed my case to another attorney to whom I have never met nor she has no time to meet up with me. We only talked on the phone and of course I got charged. Her website had me believed that Roshkind and her staff will do the right thing, esp. with $350/hr I thought I would be alright, but I was deceived and had to fired her. Got 70% of the money back.

Divorce in 2008 handled by succession of inexperienced and frankly bad attorneys. Representation during mediation was poor. Law firm could not be contacted following divorce decree - I had to call the judge. They could not review documents (or simply didn't), could not prepare Quit Claim deeds or assist with QDRO. Very, very poor representation for the money.
