Vern is a very nice man so far as his sociability goes, but I am greatly disappointed in the way he has handled our case. He did a decent job of staying on top of the paperwork in the beginning, but his court actions were not aggressive for my liking. It was made clear to me from the beginning that asking for more than every other weekend was a long shot (for a father in Thurston County it is, but it would have been nice to have had the impression he was willing to fight for it). In the end I settled on every other weekend and a midweek visitation, with what I felt was 0 support from his side. I felt like my ex had two lawyers rather than the one she brought with her. Also, he took 3 weeks to submit the settlement papers, and he submitted them with errors I pointed out to him before submission. It has now been over a month since settlement, and the papers have not been signed due to his foot dragging and errors. Like I said, I am disappointed I spent so much money for so little.
