I was charged with refusal of providing a breath sample when stopped at a ride check last year, Michael Rombis was able to knock my criminal charge down to a simple offence of obstructing a peace officer. I was not criminally charged, no license suspension, and other fines and sentences were lowered significantly. Clear, effective communication. Professional and organized. I was charged with a refusal to take a breath test, which is equal to a DUI in consequence (criminal charge) and Michael Rombis was able to have the charge reduced to the non-criminal charge of reckless driving. HUGE difference in consequences, and I cannot THANK him enough! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Mike clearly knows what he is doing. After blowing over for my DUI, I called Mike for help. He assured me not to worry and that everything would work out smoothly. He worked the courtroom like magic. Originally the crown had set a conditional discharge for me, and after Mike spoke they switched it to an absolute discharge. From the beginning, he gets to know you and I developed a close relationship with him throughout the case. He told me straight from the get go this would be the result and I was completely satisfied with the results. He worked at an extremely fair rate and clearly had a lot of knowledge as a lawyer, especially with DUI cases. Overall very satisfied with the results of my case and happy to have had Mike to help me.

Six months later was caught operating a motor vehicle, charged with driving disqualified, Michael Rombis had is dropped to driving with a suspended license and a $325.00 fine. Was told not to worry when hired. After 2 years of payments, confident outlook, cancelled meetings and negligence - was told last minute during actual trial to plead guilty. Even the judge took my side in the case, and was handed minimum sentence - when I could have gotten off with a half decent lawyer. Terrible experience. Stained record. He even forgot that I made all the payments due, and asked for more.

If you've been arrested for a DUI, this is the guy you want representing you. I was charged for driving with almost double the blood alcohol limit, and although the judge knew that I was driving under the influence, Rombis worked his magic and had the whole case thrown out on technicalities! He had strong cross-examining skills that left the arresting officer look like a rookie! He didn't sugar coat anything and had me prepared for everything. 1) Knowledge - knows DUI laws like the back of his hand. 2) Communication - great at responding to your calls, but before court I was uncertain of our game plan otherwise 5 out of 5. 3) Tenacity - Once in court you'll see how tenacious he is: he wont give up until it's done. 4) Work Quality - came prepared with references in hand to previous court cases that were similar to mine. 5) Value - although he would consistently remind me about the outstanding balance, his prices were quite inexpensive and considerate to my circumstances. This lawyer is a biggest fraud. I paid him $2500 for something other lawyer charge only $1000 and he promised me to get it dropped for me but he actually made it worse. i owe the ministry $4500 and i have an extremely bad driving record. Thumbs down for this guy.
