Charged with Drive Disqualified.Extensive previous record including 4 previous Drive Disqualified. Crown was asking for Jail Time. Mr Rombis was able to bargain for 2 months house arrest and 1 year probation. Excellent outcome. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Michael for my Over 80 charge by a close friend who highly recommended him. Michael lived up to all my expectations and his hard work and case knowledge resulted in the Judge finding me Not Guilty. Michael was always there to answer all my questions and worked out a fair and simple payment plan for me as well. I have been so happy with Michael's work that I have also referred a co-worker to Michael for his help. Clear, effective communication. Professional and organized. I was charged with a refusal to take a breath test, which is equal to a DUI in consequence (criminal charge) and Michael Rombis was able to have the charge reduced to the non-criminal charge of reckless driving. HUGE difference in consequences, and I cannot THANK him enough! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

After wasting a lot of money and aggravation with false promises I realized I was taken for a ride. I am so angry for believing his sales pitch. He is an excellent salesman and can sell the Brooklyn Bridge. If you need a good salesman, use him. If you need a good lawyer, look elsewhere.

Was told not to worry when hired. After 2 years of payments, confident outlook, cancelled meetings and negligence - was told last minute during actual trial to plead guilty. Even the judge took my side in the case, and was handed minimum sentence - when I could have gotten off with a half decent lawyer. Terrible experience. Stained record. He even forgot that I made all the payments due, and asked for more.

Terrible lawyer! Cancels appointments, late for meetings, sucks at cross examination. Big disappointment and waste of money. Myself was another sucker for all day trial to being Told to plea guilty. I'm no criminal!!

Knowledge: access how much money he can get for doing CASH representation...Communication: ACCESS more cash....MISREPRESENT himself to his CLIENT...TENACITY: MISLEAD the CLIENT to a successful conclusion at TRIAL...WORK QUALITY: $10.000.00 cash (no receipt nor any paper work) for a RECKLESS outcome ( any respectful lawyer and or even a paralegal "would and could plea this for $1500 Max. With a RAPID RESOLUTION). VALUE: FEAR for your life the night before sentencing, I was told I could go to JAIL because the JUDGE and ROMBIS had "PERSONAL ISSUES". BOTTOM LINE here: When you have a situation in life that you need to retain a "LAWYER" make sure you get ONE!! ......I now know I was "$$$$$$$" for this so called lawyer. I WILL B BACK WITH A CONTACT NUMBER, I NEED TO FIND A COUPLE THAT EXPERIENCED WHAT I DID IN THE HAMILTON COURT.

He got my daughter off all charges in Peterborough, blow away the people in the court room,people were impressed, asking who was he and where did you get him, came across like my cousin Vinny.

this lawer told me he not to worry he can beat the charge and i paid him 8000 dollars and in the end at trial he told me that the judge didnt like him and to plead giulty or i was going to jail so i pled guilty and got skewed paying for a trail that never happend so i fired him and now im takeing him to court he is all about the money not the cliant

This lawyer is a biggest fraud. I paid him $2500 for something other lawyer charge only $1000 and he promised me to get it dropped for me but he actually made it worse. i owe the ministry $4500 and i have an extremely bad driving record. Thumbs down for this guy.
