I was impressed with Patrick from our first phone call. I was so surprised he personally answered the phone. I never felt rushed or judged. He listened to my story with a patient understanding ear. He championed my virtues without thinking less of me for my actions. I was well represented, helped and encouraged throughout the whole legal process by himself as well as his assistant Susana. I contacted Patrick regarding some serious charges against my daughter. Patrick returned my late after-hours call and we spoke on the phone before setting up a personal meeting. We never thought we would be in a position to need a criminal lawyer but we were very happy to have Patrick recommended to us when our sons were charged in separate instances. Patrick Metzler is a down to earth type of person whom I feel comfortable with as soon as I sat down for my consultant. He doesn't give you false hope and make your expectation run high. He is realist, tells you a little up front and whatever is discussed, then give you the news. I like that. Patrick fought for me when I thought I was doomed. It was my second DUI and the outcome was really good. I still have my charge, but avoided jail time which was what I was terrified about. Thank you Patrick and Susan for all your help.

I was charged with assault in May of 2017. I was very worried at the time about my career as I belong to a recognized professional association. I met with a few lawyers and finally retained Patrick. My first consultation visit with Patrick reaffirmed to me that his technical knowledge was first-rate and his approach was far better than any of the other lawyers I’ve contacted. He was warm, personable and meticulous in his approach.

I had a great experience with Patrick. My case was completely withdrawn! I strongly recommend Patrick based on the following: 1) He is very patient, don't take it as he won't fight for you. He is just polite with clients, but he will definitely be tough in court when he has to. 2) I am a professional working in Toronto. Patrick showed great understanding of potential impacts on my career and was able to hold my hands throughout the entire process. 3) He is extremely professional and smart. So if you are looking for someone who can cut the crap and do real work efficiently and effectively. He is the one for you. All our meetings were efficient and professional. I felt my money and time were well spent. 4) He has tons of experience, he is a well-rounded person and knows a lot of people in court. Patrick is simply brilliant, with uncompromising ethics, tremendous knowledge and has a very friendly and warm personality. When I first required the services of a lawyer, it was Patrick I called. I recall it was before 8:00am on a Saturday and he took the time to answer my questions, provided re-assurance and explained how things were to proceed. As the case advanced he kept me informed and provided the direction that ultimately resulted in having my charges withdrawn. It is clear that his experience and knowledge made a significant difference and he is really easy to talk to.
