Here is the reader's digest version. I never took the stand. I sat in my chair while Doug was too ill to defend me for 2 and a half months!!! We rescheduled my court date 4 times. The original date was December 26-27 after being shifted to LA from Texas on a small technicality (hearing in texas November 29). My daughter and I lived and still live in Texas. Her mother agreed Texas was the best place after $50,000 in attorney fees and no completion to the hearing. I was not heard by the judge. I never took the stand. I traveled in December with my family and daughter. I traveled twice in January with my family and daughter, and finally Feb 3. (thousands on airfare and hotel and rental car) My custody case was moved from Texas to LA (on a small technicality). Each time we traveled it wasn’t until we arrived in LA that Doug told me he was too ill to proceed. There were 4 trips flying my dad, mom, Greta and myself. Doug had some rare infection and refused to admit he was too sick to defend
