Ms. Behrens was the worst attorney possible to represent my son during his divorce. Her attention to detail and memory are very bad and will charge you again and again for the same work. She charged OVER $40,000 for what other attorneys stated was a fairly simple divorce and child custody case. We then took her to binding arbitration and she will not release the overpayments back to my son or take the lien she put on him off. In her profile she stated she charged $200 per hour but bills at $225?If you are looking for a good attorney DO NOT use her but you may want to recommend her to your opponent, she may just bill them into the poor house, she almost did us.

Barbara charged my family and I a fortune and then withdrew from the case because we had no more money!The worst mistake I ever made in my life was hiring her.

Barbara is a very knowledgable attorney who fully understands the law. She has kept me fully informed every step of the way and she has devoted 100% to my case. She has made the most difficult part of my life much less stressful. Her fees are very reasonable and she does not overcharge. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a GREAT child custody/divorce attorney. Her expertise is second to none.

She charges outrageously for things that she does not do (i.e. charges you for a win in your case when you dismissed it before it went to trial). She shows little knowledge of the law and does not show any knowledge of materials you submit to her. The paperwork she gives you and which she turns in is riddled with errors and often contains other clients' information.
