I was the defendant in a defamation case that was unsubstantiated by the plaintiff. Christine recommended she file a demurrer (objection) to get the case dismissed by the judge for lack of merit, based on verifiable evidence. Christine never filed the demurrer. Instead she kept the case open and continued to bill me for irrelevant "work", and she was complicit with opposing counsel in intimidating me with a new lawsuit (also unsubstantiated). She told me she has to "play nice" to get the case dismissed. Meanwhile, she ignored the truth, ignored the evidence that would exonerate me, and she strung me along for a pay day without actually defending or protecting me. Eventually opposing counsel dismissed with prejudice unbeknownst to Christine. My courthouse file shows "no attorney of record". Christine's behavior was self serving and unethical.
