Stay away! This lawyers good ratings are fake. Trust me- it’s obvious. Look at real comments and talk to real clients. Romana is not a good lawyer. She is cold she is uncaring, she is money, hungry, and she’s afraid to go to court. I had her as my lawyer - and trust me, I wasn’t thrilled, but I kept thinking it would get better and I already spent so much money on her. But then it came to trial and guess what she ditched me to another law firm so I had to pay someone else all over again anyway. Unbelievable. The worst service I’ve ever seen, worst lawyer, I have no idea how she owns a firm because she’s the worst.

Romaana has been excellent! Worth every penny. She is very knowlegeable and direct. Doesn't play any games or waste any unnecessary time in order to rack up a bill, which was very relieving considering the overall cost of representation is expensive as is. Romaana is one of the best family lawyers I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only is she knowledgeable and fast in her responses, she picks up on the smaller components that other lawyers over look. For anyone posting a negative review, I can almost bet that they are not happy with being expected to pay for services that they retained her for, or for them being called out on shady and dishonest behaviours. Search the Law Society directory - has she ever had any disciplinary action? Nope! Don't want to pay someone for their work such as (clearly) the previous clients posting below - then she isnt the lawyer for you! I bet these folks below expect payment when they work right??? I have had many issues with my separation agreement and informed by a few other lawyers my separation agreement is a joke and my lawyer should of flagged many clauses before having my sign. Many of those flags I questioned but was told by Romaana I can see a mediator if I have a problem down the road. Another lawyer said instead of spending money on a mediator down the road, Romaana should of clarified the clauses and not left them so vague. I would never recommend this lawyer.

Romaana was my lawyer for a file, trying to negotiate out of court. My file is now in court (with another lawyer). She didn’t stick up for me, she didn’t listen to me, and she seemed more concerned about taking my money. I’d never recommend her. She was terrible.

Romaana is very good. I found her on this site and via a referral from another high ranking attorney on this site. Prior to that I had been self represented for 3 years in my child custody case. I had done OK considering but was at a stage that I needed additional guidance and help. In order to save money Romaana and her staff, including Rishi (who handles things while she was on MAT leave) let me chose serves as we went, everything from advising me to representing me. In the end I was finally able to end a long battle with a difficult ex. Romaana was professional, honest, realistic, tough when she needed to be and reasonable when she needed to be. It was well worth the money in the end to put a nice bow on the long standing battle and to move on with my life.

Romaana is a kind, caring and warm individual who has grown to be my friend through this trying process of my separation and divorce. She often checks in on me to make sure that I am back on my feet. We tried to negotiate amicably but when push came to shove, we had no choice but to go to court and I walked away with my kids, enough to secure me financially, and my dignity. I am sad to see the review below because that is not her character. Of course she will expect that your account is kept in good standing, but doesn't every business. avoid avoid. Avoid ! Most of the reviews are fake. See they have 2-4 reviews around the same days. Throughout the profile. She even told me knows about this rating. Notice they are very generic. She's a $$ grab. Maybe was good before.now she doesnt seem to know the basics. She kept pushing my case for more & more conferences & to do nothing and it would cost about $3000 just to say Nothing is happening lets schedule another court date that will cost another $3000. She is a very cold person. This is when you are the most stressed in life & all she can say is how much retainer . My ex violated so many court orders but Romanna would not do anything & say if we bring those up the case will get harder (what she means is that she'll have to do work) You're looking at atlest $30,000 for simple case and way more if property, custody battle is involved Go for a mediator it willl cost you 10% of this. Heck, she'd even charge $50 for emails saying " Reminder court date on ... ' Just Avoid

I was nervous when I was looking for a lawyer to help with my cohabitation agreement and after my first meeting with Romaana I felt very at ease with the process. My previous lawyer transferred my case - custody and visitation, to Romaana for some reason.
“She’s too young to handle my case” - this is the first though when I met her at the beginning. But I changed my mind completely after. Romaana is very knowledgeable, professional, honest, and very smart. She is patient to listen to my circumstances and willing, and will analyze and tell the best solution straight, not waste time on useless matters. She is friendly and caring to the client, but in the court, she can catch any minor details and fight back strongly. Her performance in court was above and beyond my expectations. She also gave me many suggestions to try to close my case sooner so that I don’t need to spend too much on useless issues.

I never thought I would need the services of a Divorce Lawyer until circumstances in my marriage drastically changed. Romaana is young but knows what she is talking about. She works hard and she is easily reachable. I was a client of another partner in the firm but preferred working with Romaana. She is very friendly and is a pleasure to deal with, especially when you are going through such a difficult time.
