arrogant, thinks she knows it all but when we got to my trial she had to pass me off to another firm! Huge waste of time. She acts like she is tough and knows what she is dong but is afraid of court. I wasted tens of thousands on this lawyer. Stay away!!!!!

Romaana has been excellent! Worth every penny. She is very knowlegeable and direct. Doesn't play any games or waste any unnecessary time in order to rack up a bill, which was very relieving considering the overall cost of representation is expensive as is. Her whole office has been professional and efficient, overall they have been really great to deal with. Highly recommend them!

Romaana is extremely unprofessional and NEVER available for her clients. I have had many issues with my separation agreement and informed by a few other lawyers my separation agreement is a joke and my lawyer should of flagged many clauses before having my sign. Many of those flags I questioned but was told by Romaana I can see a mediator if I have a problem down the road. Another lawyer said instead of spending money on a mediator down the road, Romaana should of clarified the clauses and not left them so vague. I would never recommend this lawyer.

I retained Ms. Shariff to help me with a separation and parenting plan. She is a great communicator and executed everything efficiently. I appreciated her straightforward demeanour. Her law clerk Melissa Przybylski is also fantastic - very friendly and efficient with amazing attention to detail. She was an absolute asset helping me navigate and prepare the financial disclosure documents. I was very happy with my experience with Ms. Shariff and would use her again.

Romaana was a trusted partner through what is easily one of the most difficult life changes someone can face. Despite a clearly combative opposing counsel, and my frustration with the effect of that, Romaana was the epitome of calm, prepared and professional. Always responsive, always willing to talk if needed, and always in your corner. Divorce is filled with questions. It’s your future after all that’s at stake. My previous lawyer transferred my case - custody and visitation, to Romaana for some reason.
“She’s too young to handle my case” - this is the first though when I met her at the beginning. But I changed my mind completely after. Romaana is very knowledgeable, professional, honest, and very smart. She is patient to listen to my circumstances and willing, and will analyze and tell the best solution straight, not waste time on useless matters. She is friendly and caring to the client, but in the court, she can catch any minor details and fight back strongly. Her performance in court was above and beyond my expectations. She also gave me many suggestions to try to close my case sooner so that I don’t need to spend too much on useless issues.
I would recommend Romaana to anyone with the similar needs.

I had been through 3 lawyers when I finally meet Romaana. She understood that I wanted to avoid court, which would have been too lengthy and costly. She helped me get a reasonable agreement within a restricted time frame. I wish I had meet her first. She is straight, too the point and effective.

I recently used the services of Romaana and Long Shariff & Associates. I am so glad they have opened a new office which is refreshing and calming. The staff is pleasant, professional and courteous and Romaana is a real gem. She was respectful of my situation and my wishes, compassionate but fought hard for what she believed I was entitled to. She does not waste your legal fees by giving you false promises. She is very upfront, respectful but firm. I have already recommended her to others in similar separation situations. As has been mentioned below, she will give you options as to how you want to settle your case and does not use the court process if she does not have to. Romaana truly cares about her clients and I highly recommend her services.

Ms. Shariff didn't end up representing me on my case. I give her high rating for the following reason. I found Ms Shariff to be honest, knowledgeable and helpful. She listened to my circumstances, quickly analyzed the situation and explained it to me. She advised that my case would be best served by a lawyer with very specialized legal expertise in a specific area. She then volunteered to find several good names for me who specialize in this kind of work. Same day her legal assistant sent me four referrals of lawyers who indeed were familiar with the type of cases that I needed help with. Overall, very positive experience with Ms. Shariff.

Ms. Shariff helped me with my separation and divorce. I relied heavily on Ms. Shariff's objective, rationale, and calm demeanour during times of high-stress throughout the separation process. Ms. Shariff received several lengthy, emotionally-charged emails and phone calls from me and handled them all with grace, understanding, and empathy. She helped me see and maintain a clear, logical, proper path through the process. Opposing counsel was difficult to deal with. Aggressive. Condescending. Arrogant. Rather than fight back with similar characteristics and strategy, Ms. Shariff took the high ground and dealt with the facts, the matters that counted most, and ignored the antics of the opposing lawyer. I observed this and used this to help moderate my reactions to opposing counsel. Ms. Shariff was a good role model in this regard. At the end of the day, we came away with a very fair, civilized separation agreement and financial settlement. I highly recommend Ms. Shariff's service/s.

I am forever thankful that Romaana was recommended to me. She is kind and compassionate to her clients and I know that she cared about my interests and my wants. I am so happy that I retained Romaana Shariff. She is great to deal with in all regards and manners. She was always available and easy to reach whenever I had questions or concerns.
