I hv been in a high conflict family law case for 4 yrs+. My ex is abusive to an extreme. I hired Jack after dealing with several incompetent lawyers. I asked him a LOT of questions because before hiring him as I needed someone who capable & hardworking. Jack prepared intensely for my trial despite the excessive details. He was organized & so well prepared! It took ALMOST ALL of my stress away!!! I am so thankful...words cannot express my gratitude. In regards to negative reviews here- Jack litigated for a foster family who had been caring for a toddler since she was in care. BOTH the birth parents and foster parents (all reside in BC) wanted the child to stay here in BC with the foster family. Two social workers perjured themselves while Jack aggressively defended the parents/fosters. Neg reviews are based around the same time this incident happened. And the article is shared repeatedly. Duplicate Neg reviews removed (same IP I assume). Its clearly the same person(s).

This lawyer has no morals or ethics whatsoever. He lies to judges, opposing counsel and will mislead anyone including his clients if they are naive enough to hire him. He's a black mark on the legal community of professional lawyers. Suspended for unethical behaviour by the LSS is proof enough of his poor judgement and practice ethics. Beware and avoid if you can.

Jack Hittrich is by far the most knowledgeable, professional yet sensitive family lawyer I have ever encountered. I had seen a number of lawyers before meeting Mr. Hittrich and all I can say is that he is a cut and a half above all of them combined. Mr. Hittrich is a skilled litigator and I cannot thank him enough for all he has done for for me. On a side note I am going to guess the negative reviews were left by the ones who got crushed in the courtroom by Mr. Hittrich ??

Jack is an experienced lawyer. He does not have the passion, possibly did before. He will threaten his own clients and is only interest is financial. This is here for you to save your hard earned money and seek professional quality help.

Unethical and sleazy. I have had to defend my underage daughter from his repeated attempts to mislead a Supreme Court judge over a ten year period. It was not a matter of him supporting his client’s views as much as him fabricating malicious untruths.

I would rate Mr.Hittrich as zero. He was very unethical with my case. By taking thousands of dollars as a retainer and then dropping my case few weeks before the trial (without returning the retainer of course). In the beginning he was very assuring and encouraging.

Jack Hittrich did my divorce and separation agreement against my extremely difficult and unreasonable ex. The moment I met him and the others in his office, I felt so much better. I passed all my worries and stress onto the law office and it was so worth it. I would definitley recommend him.

I bought I had a simple matter, until the ex started filing all sorts of crap I didn't understand. Hittrich Law made sense of it all and took a lot off my mind.

Jack Hittrich took my case and said he knew exactly what to do. In 18 months he was unable to get a child support order and lost my home. He admit that he was having health problems and did not have time for my case but then why take it on in the first place. He has left me and my family with nothing.

Jack Hittrich and his team were awesome. Mr. Hittrich is definitely passionate and you can tell "it's more than just a job" to him. He goes above and beyond what most lawyers would do. I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing a top family lawyer.

It was 50/50 if he'd take my call and his callback was even worse. Needed him to be aggressive in a mediation and he was very passive. He would just brush me off when I tried to inquire or understand something. Asked me what my hurry was when I asked why correspondence was taking so long with other lawyer. Senseless charges. Not worth his $450 per hour, quality of his service is that of legal aid. Would never use or recommend him again.

This is the best good lawyer and law firm in the world. If you get them consider yourself very very lucky and blessed. Hittrich and firm saved my life and they saved my children's lives. Every single day for the whole year and a half prior to me finding Hittrich, desperately trying to get help to rescue my children, I had searched and contacted (and in many instances experienced) hundreds of other lawyers who did nothing to help us. Not capable or willing, some even did things that hurt us further. Jack Hittrich and his law firm have only ever done things that have helped us tremendously. They are good people and very professional, strong, passionate about and know law, meticulous and fair with their accounting. I have the highest regards possible for and in recommending Jack Hittrich and law firm to any good person.

I fully understand the previous comment regarding his work. He is forgetful, takes for ever to respond to correspondence (3 months !! - unacceptable) and is often unprepared. Never again !

Nothing stings more that paying 25k to watch your lawyer stumble his way in a courtroom, forget pertinent information, and lose your file. This guy is a toxic scatterbrain, and only wants your money.

Jack gave me discounts and worked for me for a year before he got paid. He knows his stuff and clearly loves his work. His integrity is beyond question, you have to wonder if the other rating here is done by someone who is a bit nutty.
