After a year Bluestone's knowledge of the case was put to the test and a 4th Dept. Justice was not impressed. It was then that I realized he was not on top of the issues and all he had done was format the record leaving out testimony I had sent to him that was transcribed from a court hearing. He was pushy to get the record finalized 12 days after I hired him. I should have been suspicious of him right then and there. He was dishonest from the start. No sincere professional would have acted like this. I had a 4th Dept. Decision and he was acting like Professor Higgins as if I didn't understand this directive. Yet he made the same mistake in an oral argument that my trial attorney had made losing out on permanent damages due to Negligence. I was shocked that he betrayed me and so were the 2 Justices. And in my case throwing them under the bus. There are 2 claims he makes on his website that are inherently false. Be wary of him.

Mr. Bluestone is very bad news. His client is only a source of money. He keeps his client in the dark. He has no loyalty for the client. He is greedy, mean, and vindictive. What I have said here is an understatement. Stay away!

I absolutely do NOT recommend Bluestone. I consider Bluestone highly dishonest and disturbingly abusive, verbally and otherwise. He withheld work on a court-ordered deadline. Worse, he did so intentionally to compensate for agreeing to reduce an inflated invoice. When we discharged him, he refused to return the retainer treating it as non-refundable and attempted to fabricate a fraudulent bill to justify stealing it. As far as what little work he did do in the beginning, we found it sloppy, poor quality and below par. Our experience with Bluestone is that he cannot be relied on, is dishonest, abusive and, in all respects, reflects poorly on the legal profession. The matter with the yet-refunded retainer is being referred and his misconduct is being reported.

Mr. Bluestone was extremely knowledgeable and helpful to me in deciding how to handle a legal malpractice, grievance and fee dispute case. I presented the facts to him and he was very clear in how to approach my case. I would highly recommend him to be considered by other lay people.

Mr Bluestone represented me in a malpractice action. I was confident I was in good hands. It was a complicated matter. He had such an understanding of the situation and took command. He delivered the exact result he predicted he would at our first consultation. I would highly recommend him.

I have had an opportunity to experience Mr. Bluestone at work in court. He was thoroughly prepared, tough, punctual and very professional. It is not his nature to candy coat what is going on, but if you want the truth regarding your case and a man who provides aggressive representation, he is an excellent choice.

Did I have a bad experience? Bluestone, who specializes in legal malpractice, intentionally expired the statute of limitations on my case, just so that he wouldn't have to prosecute my case because he was doubtful that he would recover more than my $15 K retainer since the attorney that I had hired him to sue didn't have legal malpractice insurance. Bluestone didn't tell me when I retained him that he didn't plan to ever prosecute my case because opposition didn't possess an insurance policy to pay him off with. (See Bluestone's documented history of this kind of conduct in the Kings County New York case of Day v. Davis where he represented the plaintiff and Judge Kramer ruled against the plaintiff because the statute of limitations had ended thanks to Bluestone.) Bluestone has judgments against him for violating the Telephone consumer laws including treble damages for multiple offenses. See NY court case of Stern v. Bluestone. Bluestone needs employment to pay off his damage$s!
