He's late to every meeting. Good luck getting a phone call returned. He gave me one price flat fee, but now wants more. He tells you everything is fine and then you get a phone call from your lender saying something different. Interview other lawyers before you pick this guy.

Mr. Peabody represented me in a real estate litigation matter and was able to stop a foreclosure sale and negotiate an affordable loan for me. Without his help, I would have lost my home.

I wish I had filled the advise of the previous reviews. MR Peabody outrightly lied to me. He went to court on my behalf. When I asked hime what had happened, he told me the case had been postponed due to no court reporter. Later I found out he had gone in and asked for a continuance. The worst part about this guy is he just lies. Sound great until you give him the retainer. BEWARE.

I retained Mr. Peabody in October of last year to represent me on a family law matter. I wanted to file appeal from the superior court judgment. I met him only once and he promised me every thing at a very "low price" and on monthly installments. I retained him and the moment he got the money it became very hard to even hear from him. He will make things up to increase my bill. He filed the appeal and when I could not keep up with his billing he filed the motion to dismiss my appeal not even dropping me a hint that he has dismissed my appeal. I happened to find out about it through the email that I received from the Appellate Court email notification.
I’m filling a complaint against him with the State Bar of California

NEVER returns calls. Has no advice. I could have filed this with WE THE PEOPLE and saved some $. USELESS and doesn't seem to know the laws when I ask him pointed questions. Tells you what you want to hear, then when it doesn't happen, he just shrugs. HE is LATE to everything. Skip this attorney and keep searching. Consider yourself lucky I am warning you :)

Mr. Peabody did not keep me up to date with my case, nor did he return my hone calls. The worst part is that he informed we a week before my case that he would not be able to attend(a case that he knew about two months in advance). He was rude and in my opinion he is a template lawyer. BE WARNED HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!!
