Mr. Lewis is as hard-working and diligent an attorney you will find at any price. Very well connected, straight to the point, doesn't give false promises. If it looks bad, he tells you, he then works hard to make it better. For me, this has ALWAYS been the case. I've used his firm four times, he and his assistant Jan have come through for me every time with much better than expected results! R.L.

Steve is one of the best attorneys a person could have on their side. I was facing two class C felonies, and he got them reduced to a single misdemeanor. I was looking at 2-3 years in jail for a weapons charge, and only received a years probation. I don't know how to thank him enough. I would highly recommend Steve for any problem you may face. HORRIBLE!! The professionalism from this office is terrible. There was no billing correspondence, he doesn't return phone calls, does nothing for the amount of money given to him. The secretary is rude. It was terrible that I had to spend money on such a complete waste of time.

In my case, Mr. Lewis displayed a great working knowledge of civil law, specifically Indiana divorce laws and regulations. He carried out his business in such a manner that utilizes his intelligence, common sense while respecting the ethics of his field. Mr. Lewis acted quickly and thoroughly. He was quick to return phone calls and his correspondences and documents were professional and thorough. Without hesitation, I would recommend Mr. Lewis' services to family and friends and to any other parties reading my comments.

Very nice up front, but once he has your money you realize you are going to have to do all the work. You will never get a returned phone call and everything is late or never happens. How can someone call themselves a professional with such a horrible work ethic? The only thing worse than needing a lawyer is getting one like this.

Steve is an A++ lawyer. I went to him after dealing with a larger law firm. The difference was like night and day. I felt like a priority as his client and he won my case. (Both of which I did not get from the other large firm.) He knows the law, your rights and how to fight for them. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone else.

Great lawyer. The guy's been doing this for a long time and it shows in his work. Every time we were in court it was obvious he is well-known and respected among his colleagues (including the judge). I would use him again in a hot minute.

Mr. Lewis seem to really care about me and my children during my recent divorce. He fought to make sure the settlement was fair and the children were taken care of. He explained all options and proceedings. He made recommendations, but supported me with my decisions. His fee was fair. Much better than what my ex-husband paid.

This attorney generally stated the obvious and did nothing to be proactive to resolve my case other than take my money. Also, his communication skills are very lacking. Don't waste your money.

He promised that my case was going to be dropped. I was kept out the court and he did not give me a chance to swear in against the allegations. and as a result he advised me to sign and the IA agreement without telling me what it means.He did not fight for me as he promised initially. He does not explain much about the case after hearings or return calls most of the times but demands more money and threatens not to attend the case if he is not given more money. I lost my case because of him even though he could see I was innocent.
