This man is pathetic as I believe per his demonstration in court, that he is biased and one-sided. He takes the lies of women and believe them to be true even when substantiating facts are available. He likes sitting in his high chair and looking low. The good 'ole boy network has really elevated ignorance, stupidity and ****mongering to a level of authority at which we all will soon grieve about.

I was very disappointed. After over 3 years of trying to resolve a family/estate issue and costing 30,000.+ I found out it could have been resolved in the first 6 months. This lawyer failed to communicate an offer to me made by the other party of which i would have accepted and in fact asked Mr. McDermot to relay my offer to the other party. Both lawyers involved decided that they would drag it out for 2 yrs. therefore costing me and the other party thousands more than what we should have paid...I'm very disatisfied and will be making a complaint to the Law Society.

Unfortuately, I only got to work with him for a short time due to him being appointed to the Superior Court in Ontario. It is too bad a great lawyer is not longer practicing.

This man is terrific! No nonsense,straight forward & to the point. I learned more about my legal situation in my first hour with him than my previous lawyer had informed me of in 14 months!! In dealing with John,he completed in 6 weeks what my previous lawyer hadn't in 14 months. Very straight forward, will tell you what is worth fighting for & what definitely isnt. Money well spent!!
