This is Elizabeth Hudak, Esq. It would be nice if the reviewers on this website identified themselves to me, or otherwise, contacted me with their alleged "problematic issues"; "they" did not. There is simply no way that I would have engaged in the conduct alleged by them, a fact which would be confirmed by many satisfied clients. I think it's a shame that this site does not contact the lawyers involved to check on their story, to impart their opinion. I would certainly contact this website if someone complained that it had serious issues with it before permitting any allegations to be disseminated by me. In any case, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!

Hudak was not responsive to half of my calls and emails. Hudak attempted to appear in court without my permission and advised I was not needed to attend which I found out later not true. Hudak misinformed me and stated my EX husband may win and seek alimony support should I seek child support, which I later found out years later, not possible. Hudak failed to inform me that it is within my legal right to have my EX pay 40% of childcare support. Hudak lacked professionalism and did not fight what was right within my legal rights. I do NOT recommend legal services from Elizabeth Hudak.

I have used Ms. Hudak for a number of issues over the years and have always had a favorable outcome. She might seem a little scattered but, she is a no nonsense kind of person. She gets the job done. The office staff is also very helpful. I am, without hesitation using Ms.Hudak once again for real estate transaction. I trust her that much.

After reviewing the ratings and reviews on Elizabeth Hudak, I made a firm decision to file a complaint with the Grievance Committee via the Supreme Court of the State of New York, White Plains, NY office. Here is my complaint that will be sent: I retained my divorce attorney back in January 2012 and paid a retainer fee of $5,000. I am filing a complaint of double billing and professional misconduct against Elizabeth Hudak.

She wasn't on top of things and failed to communicate appropriately to parties in a timely fashion which cost us dearly. I had seen the poor ratings here and was reassured they were untrue only to discover they were absolutely true. I felt she was condescending and, in her own mind, her time was too important not only for her clients, but to meet the deadlines set in contracts. She didn't return phone calls, didn't notify us of dates things needed to be signed, and lied to others about her communication with us.

My experience with Ms. Hudak (on more than one occasion), was consistently excellent. If she was not available, a member of her staff would get back in a timely fashion and always responded with accurate information. I would not hesitate to hire her again.

I wasn't aware of this review till now. I had hired the law firm for a family/support custody case. I was told that they were going to adjourn the first court date due to Liz was away. The night before I find out a collegue was representing me. When I spoke to him he stated he is aware of everything in my case (which was a lie). He then proceeded to lie to me the entire time/never set up the appointment for us/our attorneys to sit down/talk until my retainer was gone. Then seen me 2x in the two weeks and never told me he was leaving the firm. He said he was going out on his own, however he is now with another law firm. Liz was great in trying to fix the wrong doing of her college. However it cost me an attorney bill that I can't even attempt to make a payment on, loss of my medical coverage (which I need), and getting a divorce not separation. They were not hired as my divorce attorneys. They were hired to get me out of family court.

I would be better off representing myself! She is not available and not prepared and the rest of your life is depending on her. Stay away.

It is inconceivable how someone, especially a lawyer, whose opinion you need and are willing to pay for - won't EVER return one phone call! I am completely dissatisfied and will be asking for the remainder of my retainer back. At this point, I would be better off representing myself.

I have retained her for over 5 years in a child custody/support matter. In the last year she has been impossible to reach nor does she return calls. Last court apperance she sent a her colleague in at the last minute, O do not pay for him needless to say I am asking for the remainder of my retainer back and am going with someone that will treat my childs future as if it were their own child.

Had a tough situation which was attended to with tenacity. I believe that divorce is tough but it was made easier, and completed.

$3oo an hour and she doesn't even return phone calls. After 3 years and a lot of hard earned money, I'm no closer to getting divorced than I was back then.
