I can write all day long and still won't have enough time to say all the praise for the staff of this office. Cindy Scharff is great to work with. She understood my situation quickly and was very prompt and professional in helping me with my case. Cindy is truly dedicated to helping her clients' families to resolve their issues quickly. She also volunteers a lot of her time in her community to help families in need.

The current reviews are certainly not my experience. The older reviews are. The current reviews have the style of the same writer and look like reviews to boost the rating. She is extremely slow, plows through the retainer charging for her to read correspondence and then you are charged again for her assistant to read it. There is no value for you as the customer. Expect to pay triple the normal cost for anything.

During a very difficult time, Cindy Scharff helped to make the experience a little easier. She was very personable, understanding and helped me to understand my legal options.She was quick to start working on my case with appropriately timed follow-ups. Hours were also good. Communication was always timely, and follow-through via phone call or email was quite exceptional. I was very pleased with the service that I received from Cindy. I have since referred Cindy.

Cindy Scharff knows the law and can produce good quality work, however I believe she had her own agenda and defending my best interest was not her goal. I was a client who wanted a fair and equal settlement. With all supporting paperwork to achieve a fair settlement, Cindy Scharff did not defend my interests. I put my trust in Cindy Scharff only to be devasted financially and emotionally as to how she handled my case. In total disbelief and shock, I believe Cindy Scharff worked in the interest of the opposing party. I believe you are better off defending yourself than to attain Cindy Scharff as your lawyer. I'm am still appauled in her respresentation! I have tried to figure out why she would betray a good paying client and can only believe she was bought out by the opposing lawyer. Her actions or lack of them has left me in financial despair for the rest of my life.

Cindy is kind and caring and sincerely cares about me as her client. She is effective in handling her cases using an academic style vs an aggressive style. At times when I have doubts about the approach taken, she proves to be bang on. Good lawyers are not cheap and no lawyer is going to give you a one-hour turnaround so expecting these things is unreasonable. Unfortunately, this is the reality. And in this reality, I feel fortunate to have a lawyer like Cindy. Cindy has been tracked down while on vacation for me and she has provided me with direction even in her absence from the office. These are the things that are appreciated.

Completely surprised by the other reviews. This attorney is intelligent, articulate and warm. It was easy to schedule meetings and she worked through a timeline during our first visit. There were absolutely no issues with time and, in fact, she worked to keep costs down. She made a difficult process manageable and I would highly recommend her.

Wish I had read the reviews here first -- she talks a good game, but as other posters here have said: slow to respond, constantly running the clock and asking for more money, doesn't fight for you just "we'll try this and see if they take it". Seemed to be away on vacation every time I needed her. Over $4000 for three letters to opposing counsel that got us nowhere before I dropped her.

Cindy was very friendly and assisted me with my divorce. Unfortunately I am still out around $35,000 from my ex husband and was told that it would be a waste of my time and money to take him to court and that I would lose in the end. I would rather have tried to go to court to get my money back that my husband had "borrowed" from our credit line but took Cindy's advice instead. Emails took a long time before being answered and I realize how busy she was but 2 weeks before getting an answer is a bit much.

***DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER!!!*** I hired this lawyer for my matter, BAD decision!!! She DOESN'T care about your case. All she did was ask me for more money. She charged me for asking her a question which was never answered. Bills are unclear, just a number that is charged to me without much explanation. Also charge me for something I didn't get. She even charged me for emailing her a 1 liner of saying "thanks" or "see you then". When asked, she said it's the system that made the mistake, and she returned $50 to me... Totally unprofessional!! Never ensure me the mistakes won't happen again. She had no knowledge of my case whatsoever. I understand lawyers make living and they are not cheap. But at least give me what I pay for! Never provide any advice to me. She is at most my type writer! $5000 to help me type out my financial disclosure. Unreal! I wonder how she got her license!! Waste of time and money.
