John’s a nice guy, but he is profoundly unreliable, irresponsible and completely disingenuous. He represented me on a Real Estate non-disclosure case. I paid him several thousand Dollars to file a claim in court and negotiate a settlement. His follow-up was horrible! When I tracked him down he claimed to be waiting to hear from the court while negotiating a $30,000 settlement with a mysterious “Lawyer Stevens”. Ultimately, I stopped paying him and filed a claim with the California State Bar. John finally called me, apologized profusely and promised to complete the $30,000 settlement. I never heard back from him again. In June 2014 I discovered that no claim had ever been filed. John had inexplicably made up the entire thing.
In all fairness, John should have told me if he couldn’t handle my case. But instead, he wasted my time and money with a childish story that took so long to unfold that he also destroyed my case. He had to know that I would eventually learn the truth
