Two days before the hearing, Rebecca was relentless in trying to convince me to settle.My case has gone on for an entire year and never once did she mention that I should settle out of court. I told her by email and phone that I did not want to settle and wanted the opportunity to present my evidence in court. She then sent me an email saying that she called the other party's attorney and settled the case. Which I responded “I am shocked. Are you legally allowed to do that?.. “.. I clearly told you I didn't agree with his offer and you went and agreed?”. Obviously I refused to sign the unilateral decision she made and went to court. At the hearing I quickly learned why Rebecca Cornia was all the sudden so insistent that I settle. She stated to the judge that she did not go over the evidence sent to her by the other party, gave the judge some excuses and asked for continuance. The judge did not allow for a continuance. There I was, stuck with an attorney who in my opinion was completely
