DO NOT HIRE HIM! I made the mistake of using him for a condo purchase worst thing I ever did. He talked to me like I am an idiot because I'm a (young woman) wouldn't get back to me for weeks. I did all the leg work phoning around that he should have done, then had the audacity to call me "nasty" and hung up on me when I called him upset that the process wasn't moving along because all the other vendors weren't hearing back from him. RUDE

Here have a chocolate! Hmm that is what is the going attraction to sign up with him. No copy of contract, no copies of statements, takes fees without notice. Does not follow up with doctors, instead asks client for their opinion. no trust whatsoever. take advantage of injured people. wastes time, does not care that clients are losing money, going in debt while he drags his heels. There is more, but I'm being polite.

He is very reasonable and respoonsible lawyer for the recent real estate purchase, patiently answered all my questions and explained all details of how the whole process works. Compared with other lawyers that I paid big dollar for on the same transaction, it is definitely a great experience. He is easy to reach, always picks up the phone himself VS only being able to speak with the assistant or leave messages. For the legal fee I pay, I am extremely satisfied with his service, and will most likely use him all other lawyer services in the future for sure.

Georges advice and guidance about how to do a titles transfer saved me a great deal of money and headaches during and after my divorce. You will find "less expensive" lawyers out there but you get what you pay for. If you want good legal advice he is your man.

George was a great lawyer for the closing of our mortgage. The people rating are clearly unhappy people who are rarely satisfied. Lawyers don't work fir free!! All of his fees were upfront, nothing hidden. I would highly recommend him for your mortgage lawyer.

I recently dealt with George for my divorce. Charges very reasonably and got it done in a timely manner. Very easy to get a hold of and is available weekends and evenings. I have recommended him to many people. Friendly and soft-spoken, can't see why anyone would complain about him. A great experience all-around!

hired for purchase of home. I originally asked for all 'fees' up front. He added rediculous fees to the final bill. Fought him for a while and won a bit back. Nightmare. Stay away from him. Absolutely rediculous.

This guy is real scum. Actually, he is the type who give other lawyers the bad reputation. George Funk will do just about anything he can to swindle and mirage you out of your money. Bogus charges, hidden fees, false promises, in fact id be surprised to hear he ACTUALLY does anything other than count the dollars he cons his clients out of. He should be in jail.

Just the sound of his name sends chills down my back. My mom hired him when she was in a battle with autopac. He dragged her case on forever, lied to her, called her names and tried to get her to settle. She was a single mom with 2 kids and no vehicle, and basically got nothing, except for a big bill from Mr. funk. I have heard nothing but horrible things about him, and would believe that any good reviews for him are probably posted by him. We reported him to the law society, but besides that, there's not much that can be done but warn people. He might be able to successfully complete a real estate transaction, mostly because his paralegals do 90% of the work, but anything else, please do yourself a favor and stay away from him.

Personal Injury: The guy solicited my business through my room mate for a negligent injury claim. Did nothing for 2 years, strongly advised me to settle, charged me for more like 75% of the settlement and my back still bothers me every day. The only bright spot of that firm is Strell.

Mr. Funk seemed to string out my case for far too long building up a big bill for himself and getting nothing accomplished. Look elsewhere.

H is a good knowledgeable lawyer. He ir ready to help clients all the times. He charges reasonably. I have good ecxperince working with him. We purchased two houses through him. One rental property in January and one new house in last week. I would prefer to go with him all the times.

Hired him for my new home purchase in large part because this seemed like a straightforward transaction and his estimate was quite low. Unfortunately his estimate was only for 'part' of the work involved in this type of transaction. If I was more informed I could have been more specific about my estimate request but he certainly didn't mention all the additional costs involved in this type of real estate deal. I was floored when the final bill came in. I confronted him about the price and he dropped it a fair bit as long as I didn't report this to anyone. Keep away from this guy!!

Stay away from him I heard bad feedback but hired him and found out first hand it was all true, took my $$$$ losses and found a new Lawyer.
