Long time coming. 2012. This person was hired to represent my 3 daughters. 14, 15, 18. She represents $$$$$$$. She failed miserably and because she failed so did I and my 3 kids. My "X" was fighting custody bc one of my kids was experimenting with drugs. She favors who ever has the most $$$ She does not care if your case will make you and your 3 kids homeless due to her neglect and stupidity$. She has horrible court room behavior. She was outside of the court room yelling at me and pointing a finger at me. (I put the old hag in her place she thinks she is above everyone$) She is old school and needs to retire. She is incapable to see a full picture. She goes on what is speculated and does NOT have the knowledge to gather proof or evidence. She does NOT communicate well with the Judge. She has no clue what it's like being a single mother/parent so how she can represent ANYONE? She is an EVIL person. She deserves NO STARS.

Case call set for 9:00am - Ms. Burdell checked in, with the courtroom clerk, at 9:40am. When this was brought up (her tardiness), with the judge, she (Cheryl), LAUGHED like it was the funniest thing in the world (on the record, in open court). Did not have requisite paperwork ready for court - had to wait while she filled out forms (Came late, laughed about it AND didn't have the proper forms prefilled? How very professional!)

She's late all the time. She disappears when she has work to do. She prolongs negotiations and litigations unnecessarily in order to increase her fees (which she calls "capitalizing").
She makes snap judgments. Cheryl is biased; and reaches out disproportionally toward rich fathers and attorneys from large law firms. She mocks justice by giving unfair, extensive "parenting time" and overnights to abusive, workaholic MEN, who alienate and badmouth their children's mother with Cheryl's knowledge, lets them get away with it. Cheryl has information and belief that these fathers will abandon their children if custody is achieved; yet, she pridefully renders faithful, abused stay-at-home-moms homeless and penniless. The MEN she unjustly favors, gladly pay her tens of thousands of dollars to her, instead of to feeding the children or paying bills. Cheryl cowers to attorneys from large law firms. She takes cases in which she has gross conflicts of interest.

Wthout question, Cheryl Berdelle is the brightest and most committed attorney that anyone would have the pleasure to work with. She is creative, knowledgeable and ethical beyond question. She went above and beyond to ensure that not only my needs were met but also to ensure I was making the best choices for my family. Family law is highly emotional and Cheryl is a beacon of light in an otherwise dark and dismal process. We will forever refer clients to her as she is the "fixer" for many of my friends and an invaluable source of information for our family. There should be no other choice if a family law attorney is needed.

Worked very hard for my case. She was a good listener and put in hours at times when I felt she was overworked. The end result was less than I would have hoped but it was not due to a lack of effort or work from Cheryl. I would be soon to recommend her to any of my peers.

She took a very aggressive and non-effective approach. Her ethics seem to be questionable as she didn't try to first rectify things amicably and I felt her first approach was to drag me and my ex into court over and over again. In the end this provided her with billable hours that I had to spend on, which costed more than the very meager settlement she was able to provide me. I was disappointed at this lack of client interest.
