My wife contacted Mr Guinn to start a bankruptcy on her own and he very deceitfully manipulated her for when he asked her on the initial phone conciliation when was her last chapter 7 bankruptcy she responded that she was not sure and he never checked until 3 months later that we were not eligible for another year. It was very evident that he manipulated the situation and played on my wife's naivety and informed her when there was no choice BUT to do a bankruptcy. Which he tried for a chapter 13 and I stepped in and told him "we" would wait and put it on hold until the following year. Needless to say all our debt is now in collections. Thanks to his "Sales" games. He was exactly as others have shared,very uncooperative. He likes to manipulate others in the extreme and very insecure. It would behoove all to file a direct complaint with AZ state BAR against him. It is a high probability that the positives comments are fabricated by his own office staff or himself in disguise.

First part of filing was great working with Debbie. Then second part has been horrible. Max his paralegal is the most rude, awful person to deal with. it has been almost a year and my chapter 13 is not complete and now I am being told that my repayment plan is going up by 3x the amount I was orginally told it would be. When I spoke to mr. guinn regarding all of my concerns and asked not to deal with Max anylonger he told me basically too bad, and I could find a new lawyer. He hasn't completed anything nor will be refund any of the money I have given him. I will be filing a full complaint with the law board. this firm is awful and unethical, both Max and mr. Guinn

I went to kirk to file bankruptcy, which is strssful enough. He offered to file my bankruptfcy in exchange for referals through my business preparing tax returns. After refering multiple clients to him, I was told that since non of them had worked out that he would not help me with my bankruptcy. Yes, I guess I should have gotten it in writing, but I was stupid enough to trust the word of a lawyer. I wont be doing that again. If you do use the services of Kirk Guinn, remember to get it in writing.

This has been an unfortunate experience that has taught me a valuable lesson- RESEARCH OPTIONS AND HIRE WISELY. I felt that I had made my situation very clear at the time of my consultation and I was told "not to worry" that all would be well. I submitted all all of my documents as required, and Debbie was awesome. Then- I was sent to the next paralegal- Max. Had I met him in the beginning, I would never have hired this firm. If you ask questions, he gets irritated (I asked 3), and his responses were inappropriate and arrogant. I saw the attorney only once in the entire process. Have had the opportunity to talk at least two people out of using them in the past year. I feel it is the least I can do for my fellow Arizonans. They cannot all be this bad.

Worst experience EVER. I would not recommend Kirk or Max (rude). I was cheated out of $1500. They did nothing for us but give us headaches & a ulcer. I need to find representation for our financial problems & lawsuit for their horrible service. Times are tough.. & they had no compassion, but to take from us.

Kirk Guinn and his staff are friendly and reliable. In one of the most trying times of my life they were there every step of the way. Mr. Guinn was very responsive anytime we had questions. Kirk Guinn is a life saver. He and his staff brought me back from the brink. Just when I thought all was lost and that there was no way to escape, he lifted the weight off of my shoulders. He promptly responded to all my questions and made sure that everything was taken care of.

ok, soooo...Met Kirk once, nice enough guy....working with his staff is frustrating...they keep asking for the same information over and over again and have had to submit documents to them several times because they misplace it. Communication is bad, knowledge is good, they never mislead me or went back against something they said. Value is 'eh' I think all attorneys have the standard amount for my case, took way too long for me to get confirmed. However, by the end, the new person came on board and the other workers weren't so overloaded. When this happened, it was like night and day, responses were quick and my file moved along faster than it ever had. Still, they don't like a lot of questions and get very "testy" when you point out they were wrong on something....testy, like, near threatening....I think I was just relieved that we got confirmed and this mess will be over soon. Started off rocky, but ended on a good note.

Not a personable atty. Paralegals do all of the paperwork for BK filing. Charged extra for reafirming auto loan. Kirk didn't turn in my paperwork to paralegal for 30 days, till I called. 341 meeting had a different atty there. You get what you pay for. $2200+150 and its finally over....

Kirk is an absolute a hole. From the moment I met him he was nothing but rude and acted annoyed that he had to spend anytime with me. All he was concerned about was payment. He would not talk about anything else but wanted to get paid first. I don't know what caused him to have such a rude and put off attitude towards people. Whatever the reason is why he is this way he is losing customers like crazy. I was 2 days from receiving the money I needed to pay him to do my case when I spoke with this jerk. I guess I should thank him for saving me the $2100 I would have waisted on his incompetent ass. Kirk should really watch how he treats people because one day he will lose all his customers because of his horrible reputation.

Horrible experience. His assistant was the one who put together all our paperwork, and any time we tried to get in touch with Kirk, he seemed annoyed that he had to talk to us. We were forced to pay his fees upfront before they would review our paperwork, once we found we do not qualify, he refused a refund. I do not reccommend this attny as he is rude and does not care about helping anyone, only about getting paid. we contacted another attny and they reviewed our papers and said if Kirk was a compitent attny he could have gotten us to qulify. Wirst customer/ client service ever. The attny office never contacted us, we always had to do the follow up on where we are and how much longet it would take. took them 3 months to review our paperwork.

I had a pleasant experience with Mr. Guinn. He answered all my questions & followed up with me each time I called the office with addition questions. My bankruptcy is almost complete and I'm just a few weeks away from being debt free thanks to Kirk Guinn & his helpful staff at Bankruptcy Law Office.
