This is a truely incompetent attorney. Did not inform me of hearing, did not inform me of outcome, did not inform me of hearing to appoint special commissioner & did not inform me of court's decision to name a special commissioner. Result: his fee - $12k + change AND a $70k settlement I had to pay. AVOID this attorney!!

AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS!! He does not give a damn about you and will just rob you blind. I hired him to work on a divorce case for me and he didn't even do the bare minimum. His assistant Drew is even more imcompotent then he is. They scheduled appointments for me and when I'd show up Drew forgot he scheduled it and Hubbard was not even in the office. I never got a face to face with Hubbard until the day of an emergency custody hearing I had to keep my son in the country. That was almost 2 weeks after I hired him. Oh, and the price is ridiculous expensive for the effort given. Plus, good luck trying to get your retainer back. It's been almost one month since my case was finalized and I had to harass his office to get an answer from a receptionist after several e-mails and phone calls to Hubbard and Drew. He also never updates you on your case. It's like pulling teeth trying to get some type of status from him. BUYER BEWARE!

David is an amazing attorney! I hired him to handle my divorce case. He fought for me at every turn to make sure I was protected and got what was right in court. He kept in the loop at all times and always provided me with different strategies. My husband was really bad to me & the kids, and David gave me his cell phone number and took my calls day and night whenever I had a problem. He was great.

Mr Hubbard does not communicate effectively with his clients, lets other lawyer take control of everything, shows no interest in his client except whether they pay the "bill." He lacks tenacity, work ethic and the ability to understand that he is to serve his client. His work products, when available, are seemingly produced via boilerplate and not tailored to the client's situation. Then he relies on the client to edit his work because they were prepared so unprofessionally. Would not recommend this lawyer to anyone else.

Context: I was arrested on charges of felony embezzlement, in which my former employer alleged that I had taken upwards of $25k, (it was actually just under $20k). Mr. Hubbard was able to work out a favorable plea. I plead to misdemeanor embezzlement (less than $200), repaid the company the $25k (off the court record), and received a 12mo sentence—10mo suspended. The bottom line is that I spent 2wks in jail, 2wks on house arrest, and my record shows a conviction for misdemeanor embezzlement (<$200) with absolutely no record of the $25k. I consider this an excellent outcome for a felony charge involving a $25k theft. Throughout the case, Mr. Hubbard proved extremely knowledgeable and he worked very hard to secure this outcome. The only negative was communication, which at times was lacking (though to be fair, that was partly due to the intractability of the commonwealth and my ex-employer to communicate w/ David). Collectively, I would recommend Mr. Hubbard and LLH.
