AVOID James T Stroud like a plague.
He was representing my mother for case A. Because we did not like his service(he was late to the court hearing multiple times, never answers phone calls...), we hired another lawyer for case B. Then he sends the judge a request to be released from representing my mother in case A. I called him to ask why. He says because you hired another lawyer(it's for a different case!). On top of that, he says that he's retired, go complain to the state BAR of California. Need I say more? he's retired!
