Paid $3000+ for an ovi defense. Took my money right away and proceeded to ignore my calls and took 2 weeks to reply to emails, providing little if any answers. Sent his associate to court who worked out a plea without my presence or participation. My impression was that they could not be bothered to provide personal service once they got my money up front. Poor communication, poor execution, terrible representation.

This guy is a crook. Read his reviews on other sites. Look at his Facebook page. Do your homework on this guy and you will see. A fool and his money are soon parted. Never trust any lawyer that can't manage their own finances.

Very lazy negligent Un trustworthy. He never discussed the case with me prior to the court appearances or even the trial.He signed my papers without my knowledge and approval. There are lots things he either overlooked or did not care. I do not recommend this guy. I had a solid Chace of Winning and he screwed me.

My son hired him.he's showed me he was untrustworthy,was not honest with his client.very poor communication .this client had no precious record .has never been in trouble ever.I hired a forensic expert who sided with my son.whi stated he should get no prison time.I watchedi mulligan chatting being very friendly with the prosecuter during court.I do think he made a deal with him mulligan did crosswords puzzle on his phone in court room.tells me he didn't plan on being focused.my son who should of got released that day by what mulligan informed us ,got 5 years.unless you are a.big.case that will get his name out there you are wasting your money.we would of most likely dine better with a court appointed attorney.

I was offered a plea deal in return for a six month sentence with work release on a misdemeanor charge.
Mulligan refused and said we were going to take it to trial.
The night before the trial, his assistant called me on the phone and said that we were going to take the plea and I’d probably have to do a few weekends in jail.
The day of the trial Mulligan was 30 minutes late and the judge was aggravated -I agreed to the plea and was promptly handcuffed and lead away to jail with no work release! -I was better off taking the prosecutor’s offer!
I sat in jail for 3 weeks before Mulligan was able to get my work release.
I hired a different attorney from Columbus Ohio, John Belton who was able to get my sentence reduced by two months.
Do not waste your money on Patrick Mulligan once he gets paid he will throw you under the bus.

This loser took my sons case saying he was an expert and that we had an excellent chance for no conviction. Needless to say he took my fathers life insurance ($12,500) and my son is now in prison. Mulligan did nothing to help my son! He even refused to do the appeal for us and since we were broke and he knew it, he told us to get a public defender. I cannot stress strongly enough DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR MONEY!!

Absolutly HORRIBLE atty, Just like the other ratings say - took the money then didn't care about me, had a major case with him and he put forth zero effort, didn't talk to anyone, didn't follow any of my suggestions on clues, called no witnesses, would never return any phone calls,was rude and if I ever asked a question he would look at me like I was the dumbest person on earth, was always pawned off on his retarded assistant - by far the worst atty I've ever seen - DO NOT use this loser!!!!

Used him as divorce attorney. Bad communiator. Was late for court several times. Didn't seem motivated to go the extra mile for client. Gave up too easily.

this lawyer took $1500 from us, filed a motion, sent his subordinate on the day of the hearing, put forth 0 effort toward winning the case, did not communicate at all, and when i called him to get an update, he was rude and verbally abusive. i am going to tell everyone i know to never hire this lawyer for any reason. all he is good at is taking your money and doing nothing to help you in any way. also, he told me it looked very positive for us before i paid him, but later on he blamed his firms failure on the merits of the case. he also gave us false hope. once he got his money from us it was like he didn't care what happened one way or the other.
