Steve Coodin is a selfish lawyer who will drop you as a client even though you have had a 4 year repore with him over money. Yes lawyers need to be paid but when you have already paid them over 3500 and they drop you over 500.00 that you were making payments on. He did that to me I got the letter on 12/23/11 no phone call just a mean letter and he knew I had court on 1/4/12. DO NOT USE HIM. He was cruel and heartless to send that letter a day before Christmas Eve. He is greedy and selfish and didn't even get the job done. I filed for a divorce in 2009 with him and am still leagally married. Steve Coodin is not good.

Coodin failed to record my negotiated inheritance in a mediation session and I subsequently lost it. He sat on his hands through the entire mediation session and was completely worthless, he offered no advice and negotiated nothing on my behalf except the inheritance which was lost because of his incompetance. He also could not get opposing council to use my correct salary for child support calculations, which opposing council had inflated by several thousands of dollars. He could not even explain to me how opposing council was using the standard child support calculator to estimate child support. After he quit, I went to opposing council and had my salary corrected with in 15 minutes. Coodin knows nothing about any financial issues. I estimate that over the 10 years following my dovorce he will have cost me more that $60,000. This guy is worse than worthless as you can see by the amount of $ he cost me.

Steve really knows his stuff when it comes to family law. He doesn't pull any punches and won't give you false hope but he does go after what you tell him to. I highly reccomend him.
