Knowledge: demonstrated average knowledge for someone with 30 years experience, yet sometimes used case study information that I found later to be significantly inaccurate. Communication: better at returning calls than what I've seen in other attorney complaints, yet discourteous and at times rude demeanor which made him difficult to work with. Tenacity: weak negotiation skills; very submissive to prosecutor; never saw any fight in this attorney except for when he fought with me over signing the flat fee agreement for his services and then later the plea bargain. Work Quality: hired cheap investigative services to cut costs; had to often correct him on errors in my background and facts of my case which revealed his inattention to detail. Value: a public defender would have achieved the same result and my mother would still have her life savings. Overall: did not trust this attorney's counsel because of the flat fee payment he encouraged and because of his rude attitude.
