Ok this man is my husbands ex wife's lawyer . He calls us demanding we go to his office, says he's subpoena a to to go to his office threatens him with warrant.... Says he needs info, and forms filled out, to help the ex..... Then charges my husband with a fee.....um.... We never retained him, he expects us to pay wife's atty fees, the court, needs to get involved and make decisions not this lawyer.....

Tyeler was my ex's attorney and god bless him for that alone. He tried really hard to help us reach an agreement and it was promising. He must be a saint to have worked with here as long as he did. Merry Christmas Tyler... Greg and Teresa

Tyler came to court unprepared and unorganized. To get a witness served to appear in court in my custody case, the judge even gave us a 3 day continuance when the witness "didn't show". TM indicated he had everything under control and even asked for an additional retainer deposit. As we walked over to the courthouse together from his office, he assured me everything was under control. Tyler did not contact the witness or obtain a statement or call the judge to let him know there were problems. The judge was furious and suggested from the bench I get a new attorney. Tyler refused to refund any of the $5,000 paid to him, "I refuse to negotiate about fees." It took $35k and 9 months with my kids in the alcoholic mom's home before I was able to get his failure turned around. In spite of his 'representation', I was able to get full custody of the kids. My new attorney (an ex-partner) would shake his head and say, "how could this have happened?" The worst of the worst. Run don't walk away.

This man is a saint. He has been going through cancer treatments and still is devoted to his clients and his mission. God bless him and his walk with the Lord.

Tyler tells the opposing side way too much info.He does not seem to know if he is coming or going.He did not remember where are videos,dvds etc.were last kept.He talked BIG but delivered small.He kept dragging out the case and let the opposing lawyer run the show.He dropped out at the last minute,leaving us without legal help,he said due to medical reasons...but continued his other cases...We do not trust him and even if he paid us to hire him we would never again waste our time with this guy.I hope no one else gets fooled into thinking Tyler Makepeace will help them.Everyone wants peace but that is the last thing you will get with him because he does not do what he says he will do.Learn from the reviews!I wish we would have paid more attention to them!Good Luck to all of you that need help!

Mr. Makepeace helped to save my mother from loosing her children to the social services department in El Paso county. I can't thank him enough!

He is absoutely the worst Family Law Attorney. He is unresponsive, and his focus does not seem to be on your best interest. Tyler Makepeace is always worried about his $, but when I need a phone call returned or him to have paperworkfiled I can't get a response. But when he wants money he will be in contact with you. I would NOT recommend him to do anything!! He should be disbarred.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN AS YOUR LAWYER!!!! I don't understand how someone could go on practicing law when they're as awful at it as Mr. Makepeace. He never answered his phone, wouldn't return calls, lied and basically stole my money. I say stole because this man took my money and then did NOTHING. He should be disbarred along with every other attorney who is as bad as he is. I cannot stress this enough people....take my word for it. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN! DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY BECAUSE TRUST ME YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Horrible family law attorney! Claims to be a devout Christian. Took my money, made promises never kept, And I ended up x10 worse after paying him $3000 of a $5000 retainer,than had to terminate represntation, and need to pay another attorney at least $5000/retainer to start over again (only much more broke & a huge disadvantage due to his incompetence!

This attorney is the worst in his profession. After 8500.00, there was not effort, not one ounce of effort was made on my case. I will be bring charges up on him after my final hearing. I had to do the Parenting Plan, Financial Statement. He never informed me it had to be done. PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THIS ONE.

After $2500 and a LOT of promises, I got absolutely NO results! It's no surprise that he used to be married to a politition. He acts just like one. Never a staight answer and even if you are lucky enough to get one BE AWARE you will soon be pulling out your wallet! He actually charges for STAMPS!!!! Seriously wouldn't you think that would be included in the "retention" fee? He is however very faithful to God which is why I trusted him in the first place. I really regret being so gullible.
