Her boldness to lie to the court and violate the rules in place to govern her is astounding. Grievances to any bar do not apply to Guardian Ad Litems. Find the Rules for the Domestic Relations Court in the county your case is held and proceed from there. Franklin County is Rule 15 (O), Fairfield County is Rule 13 (13.8), Licking County has a Comment form with instructions. have not been able to locate process for Delaware County. Always remember to sign and date your grievance.

Accepted payment and disappeared for 2 weeks, then told me she wanted to do her visit on short notice. In all hearings before the magistrate it was very clear she had her recommendations determined before even doing her visit with my ex. She perpetuated lies from the opposing council on multiple occasions and made it very clear she never read the proposed modification. I was told that I had to go to a parenting coordinator and listen to the constant lies of my ex for an hour at a time. Very clear that the continued dragging out of my case was a money grab. Her rational was unfounded and could very well be proven wrong.

Alise was assigned as the GAL in my divorce from my ex-wife. Our divorce was contentious, and therefore stressful. Alise alleviated some of the stress by being a steadfast professional throughout. She was extremely fair and not in any way judgmental. She took the time to get to know the situation very well before making any decisions. She was available to me and my ex wife when needed, and made herself readily available to my children (teenagers) as well. She was a great asset for them and gave them a means by which they could express themselves. If you are lucky enough to work with Alise, you will be working with a person willing to do the work to see through any attempts to mischaracterize the situation. She will take the time to come to the correct and fair conclusion.

I am a Dad, and Ali has shown the utmost concern for the well being of my children - this is what SHOULD be the priority in ANY divorce or custody dispute. As the appointed GAL for my 2 children, she was able to quickly recognize and dismiss blatant misrepresentations about myself and my lifestyle. She listened to the wishes of the children and made appropriate recommendations regarding changes in parenting time. Ali is absolute in her quest for what is in the children's best interest, and her role in my case was paramount to the safety, health, and happiness of my children. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a truly fair outcome!

Alise is a horrible GAL and has lied on several occasions. She did not follow-up with professionals regarding my child's well being. Everyone who has had a bad experience with her MUST FILE a GREIVANCE with the Bar Association. It is the only way she will be held accountable.

Alise Price was my attorney and I had to fire her. When she wrote one of the first motions for me, she completely exaggerated the truth to the point where statements were untrue. When I called her on it, she became defensive and told me to toughen up. Soon after, she didn't return my phone calls, but had no problem billing me. The time and money to find alternative counsel was not cheap and put my case that much further behind. Don't get me wrong, I am not a big fan of my ex, but I certainly did not want to lie to get ahead with the court. I attended a domestic violence support group last week and folks were sharing names of recommended attorneys. For what it's worth, Alise's name got brought up multiple times as one to avoid. I quickly learned that my situation with her was not unique. I don't typically post on these rating sites, but if I can save someone the grief I've gone through with Ms. Price, I feel it's important I do. Thank you.

Alise was appointed as Guardian ad Litem in a case where I, as an attorney, represented a mother who was fighting her ex-husband's attempt to gain decision control over the couple's children. Alise was focused on what was best for the children, and spent more time and effort than I would expect at understanding the parents and children and what was best for the children. We tried the case, and the Court accepted her suggestions in the final court order. In other words, the court agreed her view was the correct view of the best outcome for the children. Alise Price has to be the worst Guardian ad Litem in the world. As others have mentioned, she does nothing. She did a home interview at each residence and one school visit and based her decision off that. She refused to interview any character witnesses and constantly deflected any requests to actually look at any facts or information we had. Please, if she is appointed to your case, do what you can to demand someone else. She'll take your money, do the bare minimum, and write a report that has nothing to do with the actual situation.

I am a Court Appointed Guardian ad litem, so the reviews on this site are completely inaccurate. My client in these cases is the child, NOT the parent. I am required to make a recommendation that I believe is in that child's best interest. Every case requires different work and I complete what is required of each case.
