Probably one of the fairest commissioners/judges/triers of fact that you could ask for, from what I and several others have observed...He doesn't allow himself to get too wrapped in the politics of who he should rule for based on "politcal power", money, race, etc. In other words, for the most part he chooses to not ignore the facts and law, and really tries to treat everyone equally and gives everyone their day in court and honors litigants right to be heard on the merits. Not true for most "triers of fact"/judges in the Los Angeles area.
