This was the first time in my life (age 50) that I’ve ever needed to hire an attorney. His willingness to listen to what I had to say was very appealing. He’s very knowledgeable, honest and frank. He knows how to work the legal system to his client’s favor, cut through the opposition’s lies and, most importantly limit his client’s exposure. At times, I felt that we should be doing something or saying something, but with his experience he would reassure me by saying “not yet, we’ll hold that idea for later”.
Kenny Rogers’ song “The Gambler” comes to mind when I think of his style. He has “made a life Out of readin' people's faces”. The judicial system is sort of like a game and “If you're gonna play the game, boy, you gotta learn to play it right”, and, “You've got to know when to hold 'em; Know when to fold 'em”. Through his wisdom, patience, and background, David Schnarrs helped me figure out how to play the cards that I’d been dealt and “I found an ace that I could keep”.

My family retained Mr Schnarrs for a criminal matter. The DA wanted two to five years in the state penitentiary. After hearings and sentencing, Mr Schnarrs was able get the sentence to fourteen months. If it wasn't for David's tenacity and ability to work the courtroom the outcome would be much different. My family will never seek out another lawyer. David Schnarrs is by far the best attorney out there!!

Dave was recommended to me by a coworker who used his services for his divorce and I'm extremely pleased with my experience with him. I filed for a divorce on my own. Didn't know anything about filing. Couldn't figure out how to file without making mistakes. I called this man searching for hope and succeeded! Dave saved my tail in a big big way. Never was I reminded of payment even though I was in financial disaster and he waited way longer to be paid then he should have. Reached out to him recently for a minor issue. Called me right back, remembered me after ten years, and gave me sound advice and piece of mind via phone with no mention of being paid. Even told me to call him immediately if my scenario takes a wrong turn. He is the only attorney Ill ever call.

Fantastic lawyer, very knowledgeable, very honest and you can tell he actually cares. Doesn't waste your time like many lawyers who prefer to explain how great they are, but rather actually uses your time to discuss you and your personal situation. Just a great guy. Would recommend him to anyone.

My experience with Mr.Schnarrs was far better than what I had experienced with two other attorneys within days of each other. Mr. Schnarrs contacted me within hours. One large firm wouldn't speak to me without making a appointment for a consult. I would have alone lost hundreds of dollars taking off of work to make the appointment. Another attorney quoted me prices for submitting subpoenas that were required to be delivered for my case. Mr. Shnarrs informed me that I personally could save money submitting subpoenas myself,again saving me hundreds of dollars in just submitting subpoenas alone! I don't understand why I wasn't afforded this information by a previous attorney except the fact it would be money they'd receive from me for doing such a simple task. After attorney shopping my mind was set on Dave Schnarrs. Save money in areas you're not aware of, try Mr. Schnarrs. Mr. Schnarrs was the second attorney I hired for my child custody case. After numerous hearings I was getting no where with the attorney I had and was beginning to feel beat up and getting nothing for my money. A friend gave me Daves name because he had used Dave in his own custody case with a very good outcome in the end. Dave took my case and it turned the outcome completely around. My phone messages to Dave were ALWAYS returned promptly. Dave communicated with me throughout the whole ordeal and gave me the peace of mind that I hadn't had previously. The stress I had been under during this time in my life disappeared once I had given my case over to Dave. Dave is the most ethical and heart felt lawyer you are going to find. He is old school. He was my divorce lawyer through many follow up cases regarding child support etc... Dave is sincerely gives from the heart and money is secondary to your emotional needs. I am certain that the bad reviews were clients who hit rock bottom and Dave through the generous heart will help anyone who cannot handle lawyers who charge by the clock per minute. All these sours grapes were given more free time than any other lawyer would spend without money up front. His heart is as large as the grand canyon. I highly recommend Dave to anyone who is going through a divorce or has family issues. Dave help me through my divorce. I am a father who got custody of my two daughters. I am totality grateful for Dave being in my corner. My daughters are my world and Dave may it work in court. If you are real with him and honest you will be rewarded with success.

Dave Has been there for me several times, He is a very knowledgeable Lawyer some times he is very busy with big cases but he always mange to get back to me..I have recommended him to other people he has done great by them too. That he takes your money and does not call I don't believe this.

He did a great job during my divorce in 2007, and also during another legal case prior to that. Always responded to my calls and Emails in a reasonable timeframe. I still go back to him for advice, which he provides without charge. I would recommend him to anyone.

His fees seem reasonable but as they say..you get what you pay for! seemd personable but a terrible lawyer. Not serious about your case, always preoccupied and no call backs. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.

David T. Schnarrs is the worst lawyer I have ever come across. I retained him for my divorce. He filed a support hearing for me and the night before the hearing He called, greeted me w/reg. b.s. but then said He was trying to get in touch with me by phone but was unable . He did not try to contact me as he said, he lied. He asked me if i wanted him to go to the hearing, i said yes. Get this he told me it was out of his way and that he would call me in the morn and tell me what to do, said it was easy. Never showed up, never called. NO WORK NO MONEY.

I concurr...constantly waiting for call backs. asks you the same questions over and over that you already gave info on. cases drag for months before resolved and then not the best case scenario for you.

They take your deposit... and then you are basically forgotten.. He does not return phone calls or file what is needed... in fact he does not keep up with your case... he has your money that is all that matters. Maybe they make money off of the "non-refundable" deposits that they collect.

Dave did not make me feel like my case was important to him. Many times I would call his office and would get no call back for days. Some questions I asked him, he did not know, nor did he get back to me with an answer. The only good thing was that he works cheap.
