I was in a bad car accident (totaled my car and was in the ICU for 3 days). A friend said I needed an attorney. I retained Joel Hoffman, which was a great decision!
Joel knows a lot about helping people who were injured. He guided me through getting appropriate medical care, including the types of practitioners to see (like seeing an orthopedist versus a chiropractor).
Joel guided me through my claim, helped me understand the processes. When I had to answer written questions, he let me know how to organize my answers. When I had to sit down and answer their questions face-to-face, he calmed me down. I always knew Joel had my back. And, I knew he was always ethical, which mattered to me. He never told me what to do or say, just about the process.
When it was time to negotiate, Joel knew what he was doing. He always communicated with me and we ended up with a good result.
