I really did not know what to expect from an attorney who advertises on the web and only charges $350 for a QDRO. Most of the quotes that I received were at least three times that price. Mr. Beutler proved to me that you don't have to overpay for a well drafted QDRO. Vanguard is the administrator and they approved it with NO CHANGES after the judge signed it. Please do not hesitate hiring this very well qualified attorney!

I work for a hospital in Houston and I needed a TIAA-CREF QDRO. Attorney Beutler was my savior -- I mean my QDRO savior! He was so fast drafting it and the hard-nosed clerks at the courthouse approved it. I tried someone else before and roadblocks. BRAVO!!!!

Moore Law Firm in South Carolina referred Stan Beutler, Esq. to me to draft QDROs for my ex's SC PEBA state pension and his Deferred Compensation Plan. They indicated that they had a longstanding relationship with Attorney Beutler. He did not disappoint me! He drafted the QDROs in 3 days - just like he promised! He charged me $700 for the two QDROs. The local attorney wanted $795 for one QDRO! I received the Deferred Compensation money already and I will start receiving the SC PEBA pension money after my ex retires. Be very careful about giving out your personal information to someone you do not know and to someone who you likely found through and internet ad! Once Stan Beutler has your info, he can “no longer help you” and he goes dark and you hear nothing more. Give this man NONE of your personal information and NO money. He has all of my personal information! You would think that as a professional and “former judge”, he would be willing to communicate and be responsive... especially because he should understand what breaking the law can look like. Please... give him nothing. You are putting yourself at great risk if you do.

I can not speak highly enough about Mr. Buetler. He did my QDRO 2 years ago. I worked for the Postal Service. I finally retired 8 months ago. And just as Mr. Buetler promised,the QDRO was proper,valid,and in place-just awaiting my retirement. There was no delay in processing my pension AT ALL! Thank you so much again sir! Mr. Buetler is knowledgeable,honest,efficient,and gets it done right the first time. And he is reachable! He stayed in constant communication throughout the entire process. And his fee? Oh my! He was a bargain-a huge bargain! Maybe I should not say this. But the $340.00 fee he charged? I would gladly have paid a lot more than that for the quality of his work. Attorney Stan Beutler was heaven sent. He drafted my CalPERS and CalSTRS QDROs along with my ex's Post Office FERS and TSP QDROs. He was very thorough and timely. In the past year, I have experienced such greed and injustice with the judicial system that I have been dreading to complete the QDROs. I asked Beutler questions if certain credits could be applied to our QDRO per the judgement. I explained that my ex-husband was suppose to pay for the QDRO and the accountant, but my ex-husband was not paying it even though the court ordered it. Beutler told me just to pay him to do the QDRO's and to take my ex to court for the money I spent. I informed Beutler that my ex would not pay me even with a court order and he not working, faking a disability to not pay for other judgments against him. As I was trying to explain to Beutler that the there were credits owed to me per the judgement to be taken out of the retirement and that I would be willing to pay for him to do the QDRO if the judge allowed for it to be credited to the retirements.....he just told me to find another attorney and he didn't want to do it. I feel that he didn't want to put any extra work into doing the QDRO, he just wanted my money, and not put in extra effort, and help me get what I was due. Bummer.

The Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO)that Mr. Beutler prepared for my daughter worked well. I was skeptical when I found Mr. Beutler on the Internet beacuse his fee was about one-third of the fee quoted by another attorney. The only difference was that Mr. Beutler guaranteed that his QDRO would work while the other attorney made no guarantee. The QDRO sailed through all parties at the price that was quoted. I desperately needed a DRO for the New York State Retirement System but I could not find someone to help me who charged a reasonable fee. I called the applicable bar associations and reporting bureaus and found that Mr. Beutler has been a licensed attorney since 1986 and that no complaint or grievance has ever been filed against him, in 24 years! Satisfied with my research, I hired Mr. Beutler to prepare both of my IBM QDROs and my ex-husband's CSRS and TSP QDROs. His service was excellent. All four QDROs were approved by everyone and processed without a snag. He was very professional and always answered my calls and emails. Tom Green, here. My ex-wife wanted me to pay another company a lot more money to prepare a QDRO. I hired Mr. Beutler instead. The other QDRO company was upset and sent me a nasty email attempting to discredit Mr. Beutler. I ignored it. I would like to respond to the negative comment below. First, Mr. Beutler charges $340 to prepare a QDRO, not $300. Second, it says that the QDRO he prepared was rejected by the plan administrator and he refused to make changes to it. It goes on to say that a QDRO was not even needed. This is interesting. Why would a plan administrator request changes to a QDRO, if no QDRO was needed? This is obviously bogus and false. Federal law requires QDROs for all retirement plans. Finally, Mr. Beutler prepared my Boeing QDRO quickly and correctly, and it was accepted by the court and the employer. He gave excellent service. Maybe the person who posted the negative comment below is from a company like my ex-wife's that is upset with Mr. Beutler's reasonable fees.

I used Mr. Beutler to prepare a QDRO for my divorce last year and his guarantee on his website that the QDRO form he prepares will be approved by the plan administrator is untrue. The QDRO he prepared for me was rejected by the plan administrator as well as the judge and unfortunately Mr. Beutler refused to refund my money or change the form he prepared when I explained this to him. I also found out later that I did not even need to have a QDRO done at all! I sent several emails to Mr. Beutler and made several phone calls, but he still refused to issue a refund. I wasted $300 but learned never to use an attorney that advertises on the Internet!
