I hired Deborah for a divorce/custody matter and she took $10,000 to do absolutely nothing! With all those retainers all she did was send emails, file one piece of paper (disclosure of finances) at the courts and correspond with my ex husband to cost me money. 100% would NOT recommend her even to my worst enemy. Terrible lawyer, as soon as I let her go my case went forward much faster and didn’t put me in debt like she did.

Rude. Unprofessional. If your case isn’t worth enough money don’t bother because she won’t take it. She is also terrible and getting back to people.

I had horrible experience retaining this "lawyer" with devastating results. Lots of disappointments to having retained this practicing lawyer. I was left suffering still from personal injury with an embarrassing unfitting unfair settlement. It is a sign its a not a good lawyer when the lawyer doesn't follow your instruction and doesn't provide the professional service that was intended for the high price tag - a cheater comes to mind when a person short changes you. Near the end of the ordeal it became complete nightmarish experience for me and I found it to be a complete mistake ever trusting her to do good work.

Be aware that she only rents an office space by the hour to meet with new clients but she does all her work from home so it is not convenient if you need to drop off documents or meet with her to discuss something. She was kind to offer me a 25% discount for her services so her rates are negotiable which is a good thing.

Our family has used Deborah Barron for a number of legal issues regarding our mother. Through Ms. Barron's legal acumen we were able to secure our mother's best interests and are very happy with the results. Would recommend her highly. Cannot imagine anyone giving her a bad review as in our experience she has been an extremely good lawyer who gets the job done.

Beware! This attorney will take you for every penny. I ended up firing her halfway through my case. She was on her cell phone answering emails while we were talking to the judge and didn't help me at all. She also forgot to bring the evidence to the judge. She never tells you what is going on with your case. I had to remind her to set the court date. For awhile there, i thought she was being paid off by the attorney by the way she was trying to make me do things i didnt want to do. She wasted thousands of my dollars!

I gave this lawyer 5/5 because I found her to be very knowledgeable in her field and very thorough...she doesn't miss a thing ....she covers every avenue of possibilities or outcomes. I found her to be patient and soft -spoken, but underneath lies a lot of tenacity..she fought for me and stuck by me until we accomplished what we had set our sights on. I highly recommend Deborah Barron as a divorce lawyer because she doesn't give up.

I thought we got off to a slow start with my case. Not all Deborah Barrons fault, as the opposing lawyer appeared to keep delaying the procedure. i.e cancelling arbitration dates due to either vacations or sickness. However, when it came down to finallizing, Deborah was very efficient at closing this out.

I found this lawyer to be very empathetic and tenacious.... she does not give up and stands her ground. She is very knowledgeable in regards to divorce cases and family law. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and colleagues..... all of this is why I rated her as I did. She doesn't appear aggressive but underneath she is very tenacious and and her verbal skills in writing up documents and drafts are exemplary.

I hired this lawyer 2 years ago for a complicated but unecessary delay of proceedings. It was a very painful and legthly proceedings. Through it all she stood by me through it all. Deborah Barron represented me through my divorce proceedings, and made a very difficult experience much easier than I anticipated. She provided timely, efficient updates and follow-ups (sometimes in the wee hours). If I ever need legal expertise moving forward, I would retain her services. She definitely had my back.
