I retained Ms. Triplett for services in 2003. She made one phone call and that took care of it. I told her to keep the retainer because I new issues would come up again as they had in the past. At the beginning of 2008 I contacted her regarding another issue I had with my ex husband. I have sent numerous correspondence and mad numerous phone calls. I have spoken to her 3 times since March of 2008. She assured me she would send a letter to my ex to get things started. Nothing has ever been done and my phone calls in the past 4 to 5 months have not been returned. I have had 3 attorneys in ND and the first one was disbarred and the 2nd one became a judge and now this. I am a resident of South Dakota and have to have a ND attorney. I left many many voice mails and asked if she didn't have the time to refund my retainer and refer me to someone who has the time to take care of this. I have heard nothing.

In my divorce case, Ms. Triplett came on strong to begin with, but left me hanging once the papers were filed. She did not follow through on several important matters and it has cost me dearly. She does NOT return phone calls. I had to hire another attorney to get a quit claim deed filed. Ms. Triplett accepted a settlement check that was less than the court appointed amount without first contacting me. That was over a year ago and I still do not have the money owed to me. She did not file paperwork with a company to split 3 annual checks 50/50, so my ex ended up with the whole check this year. She won't return my phone calls, so I may be out that money. I will have to send papers to the company myself and hope I don't have to hire yet another attorney to get the issue resolved. She is the worst! Buyer beware. She will leave you defenseless and at the mercy of your ex.
