Victim of incest. Stephaine Burke tried to intimidate me and didn't want me to testify. She lied about documents claiming she never received them. When email proof was shown that she had, the "judge" would not allow her to be deposed. Hornecker Cowling is allowing her to run rough shod over the law. Good lawyers are gems and fight fairly. For victims. Defense lawyers can fight but it shouldn't be a scorched earth attitude. Trying to intimidate a sex assault survivor, didn't work. She should be sanctioned.

My attorney, Stefanie Burke told me that she had subpoenaed my bank concerning my husband's wire transfers of huge sums of money from our joint investment account. The bank, however, never received any subpoenas from Attorney Burke. At a hearing on March 15, 2016, my attorney, Stefanie Burke did not even bother to show up. She had her new assistant (that I also paid for) "on the phone" during the hearing. The judge ordered me to pay my husband's attorney fees. My husband has used my family's money to open a pot dispensary at 2455 Rogue River Hwy, Grants Pass, OR 97527 as well as purchasing a 4.9 acre marijuana "farm" in Gold Hill, OR. My family trust, that had been intended for my children's college education was used for these "investments". I truly believe that based on her ongoing "flirtatious" manner with my husband's attorney she was working on their behalf. Stefanie Burke has destroyed both my and my three children's' future. I received a bill of $7,261.38 from "attorney" Burke.

This is the most dishonest attorney I have ever met. Blatantly disregards the law, misrepresents facts, witholds relevant evidence, flat out lies to the judge. No intrest in ethics or justice only $ and wins for her record. I wonder how many children have been separated from family because of her tactics. Look elsewhere for honest representation.

Stephanie Burke has been working with the father of my child to strip my son from me. I am a healthy, loving, and nurturing mother. She was only able to help him by being manipulative, sneeky, and deceptive. She does work within the "limits" of the law but is known for doing things in an underhanded and seedy way. She took a child away from his perfectly healthy and nurturing mother. She wins most of her cases through nefarious means. Please be aware of her practice. And yes, she will get you custody of your children but by tearing the other person to shreds. I would recommend a lawyer who prefers to mediate and reconcile.

Stephanie simply executed. She did what she said she would and when. Always available and on time. She was a valued advisor and I would seek her council again. The result was a judgement I was very pleased with.
