Without Anne my daughter and I would never have survived her 4 ½ year custody battle. Her husband and his girlfriend were bullies, very emotionally abusive and there was no peace. Anne knows the law, has extensive experience maneuvering the system, and is an excellent trial attorney. She is not afraid to fight and will stand beside you in all situations. Anne is also responsive to emergency situations. She will not hold your hand, but if you want someone to walk beside you, protect you, fight for you and get the best end results Anne is DEFINITELY the one. Anne has been my attorney for several years through non stop rediculous battles against my ex-husband. Every hearing I went through with Anne came out better than I could have imagined. I always felt comfortable with her by my side. Anne knows her stuff and won't waste your time. She is confident and on point in the courtroom. My ongoing experience with Anne has been amazing to say the least... Anne has been supporting me on my ongoing divorce and custody needs on and off for the last few years. Without her, my experience with this process would have been a horrible mess. Anne is very strong in her knowledge and skill-set for providing legal advice and legal leadership. I was very pleased with the counsel provided by Anne Harvey. She has always been realistic and up front about the proceedings. I would highly recommend her. I am a single father who was unmarried. Starting out in the State of Ohio I basically had no rights to my son. Anne was able to get me full custody of my son. It was a long process but she explained each step and at the end of this got my son what was in his best interest. Thank you Anne!

Do not hire Anne Harvey. I paid her nearly $5000 for my divorce and she made a huge error and has created a huge mess. It's a survivorship issue that has the potential of costing me 130,000 if I can't get it fixed. I have hired another attorney to try and do this, and that to date has cost me another $2500 to date. It could have and should have been easily avoided by protecting my interest during the divorce. Since Anne did not do so, I have a huge and expensive mess on my hands. I tried to talk with Anne about it. She refuses to take ownership of her mistakes and has withdrew as my attorney. In short, I paid Anne nearly $5000 for a standard divorce, she messed the most important part of it up, and then she quit. I cannot or will not refer her to anyone for any type of legal matter. Very disappointed here.

What a blessing Anne has been to me! She saved my life. After 30 years of marriage my husband decided he wanted to be 18 again. Unfortunately, a 60 year old wife was not included in his new plan. Anne fought for me all the way. Her staff is wonderful. I've recommended Ms Harvey to everyone I know and once you've met her, you will too.

I am the father of an 8 yr old boy and recently went through a divorce after 16 yrs. Anne helped gain me full custody as my son and in the end no spousal support was due. This was all in the best interest of my child as she could clearly see. Please do not go to Anne if you are looking for any sort of sympathy or regret. If you want a proffesional hard working attorney with much experience and knowledge, that is what you'll get from her. Anne knows the system and what is of importance and what is not. Do not bombard her with emails or phone calls day in and day out. Please be patient if you do not get an immediate response. She is a busy woman and if it is of importance then she's on it..if she thinks it can wait then you may not hear back. A divorce is one of the most grueling experiences you will ever go through. Anne will get it done..and on top of that she'll do it with miles and miles of style.

Anne Harvey was my lawyer for a divorce after 40 years of marriage. It was unwanted but inevitable. Anne guided me, listened to me and made what could have been the most horrible day of my life bearable. She told me when I first met her during a custody issue my son was having, that if we wanted someone to hand hold or coddle us, she was not the lawyer for us; but that she would fight for us like noone else. She may not seem to be the hand holding type if you only listen with your ears; but deep down she is a very caring person and gives 100% to her clients. She is the BEST!!!!

Atty. Catherine Harvey and I got into argument over the phone. She called me and asked why am I disputing the charge on my credit card. Then she started calling me a thief and lier. I consulted w/ her to hire her. Then after 2 days her sec. told me that she cant take my case bcuz they are full loaded. Why didnt she told me that in the first place? Before even coming to meet her. Pls.. do not come to this lawyer for 275 consultation fee. Meet her for free consultation if not find another lawyer. She is rude and talk bad things to you. I will take this matter to business beaurue. The rating on here is fake. She wrote this rating on herself or asked one of her employee.No way this rating can be true.

Anne recently represented me. She told me not to worry. She was strong at first, but then quickly chaged her tune. For over two weeks prior to my trial, she would not respond to any emails or phone calls from me or the other attorney. On the day of the trial she was not prepared changed her strategy and held up a white flag. This is sad, because this is my first negative review for any business or service. I try to be positive, but she gave me no advise and was afraid to litigate. She charges for all emails, even if it s forwarding a one line email. Losing is not an issue a long as you had your say in court. I did not get the chance.

I cannot say enough about the high quality of service I received from Anne in handling my divorce. She was efficient and direct. I never felt any time was spent in an unproductive manner. And she even called out opposing counsel on what appeared to be tactics by them that just resulted in "churn" and a billing opportunity! Thanks Anne.

Anne was my first experience with a lawyer . She was always professional and kept me up to date on all of the proceedings with my divorce and custody battle. Anne also was always up front and honest with how things were progressing with my case and what to expect. I believe her knowledge was a great asset to me winning my case. I need representation as I'm being sued by my husband for divorce. I called for the $250 consultation...I'm from out of state so it had to be by phone. I typed up a background so she could refer to it. Well, our conversation lasted maybe 30 minutes, she was abrupt, didn't really tell me very much, didn't ask too many questions, did answer some of my questions, but didn't explain to me the process or what to expect. She just told me she would file a countersuit asking for this, this and this, and then asked if I had any more questions. I said yes, I have a lot but am really overwhelmed. She said well, if you retain my services we can go over them then. I want to request half my money back considering we only spoke for 30 minutes and I got the same information I got from two other lawyers for free. A waste of money and time.

How lucky was I? I just happened upon Anne when looking for a lawyer for my divorce. She is a Godsend. Extremely competent, personable and as other reviews said "a straight-shooter". She got me through the divorce and as a father, got me sole custody of my son. She explained the steps along the way and provided realistic expectaions. I cannot praise her enough. She is a fearless tiger in court. Watching her operate in court was like something out of a movie - absolutely fantastic! She is the only Dayton Family Law attorney I would ever choose!

As a previous rating stated, she starts off strong and gives a great initial impression. After that though, the service drops off pretty quickly. Knowledgeable, but understand that you are not in charge, or even consulted, in what happens with your case. Vague comments that turn out to mean nothing, overtly misleading statements, lack of commitment and questionable integrity are my experiences with her. Big ego and small commitment are what I suffered through. I'd stay away.

Anne Harvey played an incredable key role in my divorce & custody case. It was a long journey but Anne's vast wealth of knowledge and confidence paid off enormously at the end.
Anne is a straight-shooter, no frills kind of lady. But I'll be the first to tell you, you can trust her with your life, and your most precious belongings (children).
Anne is a well-educated soft-spoken lady in person, but has an iron-fist when needed.
I will continue to use Anne in the future if the need for a confident, prompt, knowledgable, attorney comes up again. Between her & her staff, I truely believe they are the best in there field.

Yes, she did send out a mass e-mail, which did not proctect my privacy. Yes, you do have to e-mail her to answer the opposing party, which she charges you for. In my experience with her (almost 2 years), she starts off with a bang, but the longer your case drags on the more fed up with it she seems to be. Yes, my ex is an idoit and won't follow the court order. However, this is not my fault and my only choice is to sue my ex so they will follow the court order. Anne Harvey seems to think I should work this out on my own instead of taking through the court system. It is apparent she has never been divorced because my ex won't even speak to me unless it is through attorneys. Overall, I would recommend her and she probably does a better job than most attorneys. She just needs to work on doing what you ask her to do and taking the initiative to answer opposing parties motions. If I want to spend my $ settling the little things that may seem petty, but matter to me; than let me.

I am a current client of this lawyer and she sent out a mass email to all of her clients with her new email address so now I have the email address of everyone getting divorced. (AND THEY HAVE MY EMAIL ADDRESS)...my privacy was not protected. I plan to ditch this lawyer very soon and find a new one.

This woman is amazing. She got more settled for me in 6 months than my prior attorney did in 2 YEARS! She returns calls/emails within 24 hours every time; usually even sooner than that. Her office assistant is also amazing. He is as helpful as they come. For the first time, the ball is in my court. Check out her webpage and read the testimonials on there. She is honest and upfront, and will tell you what she can do for you. I don't even live in the same state and she is incredible. She sends anything that is filed on your case to you immediately via email so you know whats going on at all times. She sends an invoice to your once a month so you know how you are doing on your retainer. She is very reasonable and listens to you.. no matter how unknowledgeable you are about the law. Her clent agreement is very clear so that you know exactly how much you will pay for every service (email, phone call..) Overall, I can't think of anything I would change about her service to me as an attorney.
